I watched an hour long video on how Russians attack Ukrainian positions. They would generally attack with 3 groups at a time. Each group had 6 to 8 tanks, BMPs, and APCs coming from 3 directions. They would hit mines or get hit with artillery or javelins. If the APCs survived most of the run, they would drop off 10 to 20 troops, and the cluster bombs would come in. After the 3 groups of personnel and equipment were neutralized, the Russians would do it again with another 3 attack groups. It seemed that the strategy was to repeat the attack over and over again until the Ukrainians ran out of shells. To me the tactics are insane. The gains are small, and the costs are high.

We talk about meat waves, but it is something else to watch it play out.

I would have thought James Carville's alter ego until Carville let loose on Biden since the debate.

It’s like the strategy Les Miles was committed to using.

What? I had been taking a break from this thread and the internet in general. I’m just trying to get a sense on who the new guy or gal is.

Lee is a leftist, generally intelligent, pro-Ukraine, but ticklechain is correct that he needs an editor to cut his word count in half.

Fair enough, just sounded like you had a mocking tone in your voice. My apologies.

Interesting interview with Nigel Farage in Milwaukee.

The part which is applicable is he is saying he does support Ukraine and giving them aid, as does Trump. The Trump Card is to tell Putin that if Russia doesn't leave, Ukraine WILL join NATO. That's it, nothing else, Putin is already at a disadvantage.

I admire your consistent optimism on this, especially as it is well above even odds that Trump will be elected. I have my doubts about Trump and Vance and their commitment to containing Russia to elevate the US and Europe, but I hope you are correct.

Watch the video, it's what Farage said. That has zero to do with my wants. Farage doesn't know me at all.
