I believe we should cut all ties to China and move our outsourced manufacturing of cheap shite to Mexico/South America if it isn’t feasible domestically.
It would create better opportunities in our neighboring nations and cut down on illegal immigration. I’d prefer we work more with our own backyard and leave the old world to deal with their bullshite. The Western Hemisphere should be ours and every nation in it should be developed, stable and energy independent before we give 2 shits about the Middle East, east Asia, Africa, or Europe’s problems

The Moscow Stock Exchange will remain closed through at LEAST next Wednesday, March 9th. It has been closed since Monday Feb 28th, making it the nation’s longest shutdown. Obviously this is just postponing the inevitable.

It’s not nearly that cut and dry. The European Court on Human Rights and the UN said it wasn’t genocide while Tribunal in The Hague said it was. If my 5 minutes of reading wiki is correct anyway
Can you read?
quote:
In the 1990s, several authorities asserted that ethnic cleansing as carried out by elements of the Bosnian Serb army was genocide.[11] These included a resolution by the United Nations General Assembly

Stocks can't plummet if you never reopen your stock exchange

There may not be anything left to trade by the time they reopen with the way Russian companies are folding right now.

The International Court of Justice is however. And it happens to be the actual court for the United Nations and not a bunch grandstanding politicians that vote on meaningless resolutions.
So to answer your question, yes I can read and it’s quite clear that you cannot.

Wrong thread. Logic isn't allowed in here.
The Ghost of Kyiv will be along shortly to shoot down your post.

I don’t but apparently researching something that happened over 25 years ago and then admitting to doing the research instead of passing it off as if you actually knew these obscure facts from memory makes you “not good at being smart.”

Your exact words were "the UN didn't declare it genocide. But they did. So no, I'm not sure you can read. Or maybe you should have been more specific in your claims.
Which neither is my problem.

basically they found that the people who committed the genocide were not part of any official serbian military but were instead largely done by a paramilitary militia. and while they said serbia didnt do it they really didnt do anything to stop it either and didnt really punish the people who did

Some talk on Twitter and some videos circulating of the Chechen Rosgvardia unit near Kyiv. Supposedly they're already doing Muslim things and beheading some people called the Azovites (?).
Some things never change.

I honestly DGAF anymore. I’m not some sort of war crime denier and this thread is about Ukraine anyway.

NEW - US assesses that Ukraine still has a majority of its air combat power available, U.S. defense official says. So interesting given predictions about Russian air superiority.
For background, here's a piece I and @idreesali114 did this week:
