ETA because things are never 100% certain until they are in the past, even if we believe they are certain. For example, It's highly probable that Ukraine won't reclaim all its territory, but there is a non zero chance.

Agree, but if you believe some of the narratives posted here it would be almost assured Ukraine will get everything back.

-Russia is going to financially collapse in a year

-Ukraine has enough bodies and funding AT LEAST for the next year

-Russia is militarily inept and incapable of making more than small gains

-Russia is running out of barrels, tanks, vehicles, etc etc.

If you believe all of these as some do, total Ukranian victory should be inevitable.

I guess my thesis is 'be wary of people who claim to have all of the answers, or speak only in absolutes'

For instance because while I’ve read that Russia is ready to surround Kharkiv and the war is all but over, I haven’t read that Ukraine is going to retake what it lost in 2014.

Because one obscure poster who doesn't even actively engage in discussion claimed it?

Several have claimed the war is over. One specifically claimed that Kharkiv is about to be enveloped.

Give me a for instance where someone posted Ukraine was about to get all their land back.

Drone warfare in graphic detail. This is from the IDF, but it shows very clearly what is happening with drones. It's not censored and sanitized like YouTube.

Putin is right you know. Why does cargo pants even lift a finger. We give him the weapons, we give him all the intel, we do the training, we give him billions in kickbacks, we pay his employees and his retirees.

Cant this little shat do anything other than waste 200billion dollars and lose a big chunk of his country and thousands of men??????

Better yet, maybe he should look at how the US govt abandons its "allies" when their usefulness is done. Europe has made it clear and the US isnt far behind.

Seize Russian assets abroad.

The US has 14 trillion in overseas assets, lets see how those investors feel when countries start seizing them because of something the US govt did.

The US govt didnt do shat to help companies when Cuba seized assets, nor more recently Venezuela.

Stealing is stealing, regardless of if you dress it up in political posturing.

They aren't specifically saying that, which is why I laid out that individual claims when pieced together end in that result.

I've seen several people (including some pro-Ukraine people) claim that the outcome is basically decided, which is essentially accurate if you don't get super specific on the mechanics of what it looks like.

The desperate need is for F16's to put down the glide bomb threats and establish something close to air superiority.

Given the fact that our allies are rapidly upgrading to F35's, there should be a lot of F16's available.

I don't believe that it should take such a long time for experienced fighter pilots to attain a serviceable level of F16 skill. There should also be many highly experienced maintenance contractors for F16's from the many countries that have spent decades supporting them.

Russia obviously knows they are coming at this point. I doubt they totally abandon glide bombs after they are operational, but I wonder how they are planning to pivot once we get to that point.

Another low ranking former intel official like Larry Johnson.

Per the Ukrainian constitution no elections until martial law is no longer in effect.

I'm sure the respective constitutions at play had nothing to do with that. It's been posted in this thread every time y'all pull that BS out that the constitution Zelensky was elected under specifically prohibits elections at times of war. It's almost like y'all are being willfully obtuse or not arguing in good faith.

US intelligence says Russia has stepped up disinformation campaign against Zelenskyy

Russian disinformation focuses on two topics: the withdrawal of Ukrainian forces from Avdiivka and the postponement of Ukraine's presidential election.

As for the presidential election, the Russians are trying to promote the notion that Zelenskyy is illegitimate.

US intelligence agencies believe that Russian intelligence services are behind the latest campaign and that disinformation is being spread through state media, fake websites, and social media.
