I keep hearing about the slow advance of Russians, but every time I see a war map there is no Russia anywhere....does that mean Russia is slowly advancing across ukraine?
Its spring again, where is that offensive, or is this just an annual spring holiday, where the US sends another 100 billion and all the ukranians laugh at us?
Waste of humanity and money, for the same eventual result we could have had over a year ago.

That’s a good point. The Russians are bad shots.

Probably has something to do with Zelensky having people imprisoned for posting pics? Unless it's a civilian building, then it's posted everywhere with Zelensky dialing up the crocodile tears.
Yes, it’s real easy to stop people from taking pictures of war damage. No one had cell phones or anything.

Don't worry, more missiles coming tonight. I can already tell you that Ukraine "intercepted 100% of them
Another prognosticator!!!

Some big ole dust particles making those craters

You keep harping on the lack of Russian gains over & over...they will speed up when the Ukrainian army is gone. Based on the dozens of videos posted this week with conscription officers dragging people out of cars/buildings/tractors...it's coming sooner than you would like to believe.
What?? You just said Zekensky was censoring all pictures??? This doesn’t add up.

You learn something every day. See, I thought Ukraine had offensive missiles and air defense missiles. Now I learn they only have one kind. No wonder Russia is gaining a thousand feet per day.
spoken like a true ukranian. Send some conscripts beyond the front line to launch some missiles and not give them any air defense for the inevitable rockets that will be sited 30 seconds after they launch. After all its just conscripts right?

So some rag tag conscripts got through the Russian lines with missiles and you want me to believe Ukraine has a problem??? Sounds to me like Russia’s D is worse than LSU’s.

Even your fellow Ukraine bros recognize the stupidity of that

Give me a fricking break, if a handful of Ukrainian civilians are killed it is plastered on the front page of every media outlet in the western world.
Zelensky has said countless times that any pictures or videos of military locations or Russian strikes against them is a multi-year prison sentence.

"We're out of air defense missiles"
-Zelensky
"We shot down 50/50 missiles tonight"

No, they are letting the French do the honors.

The last successful military target in western Ukraine that I recall being hit was the ball bearing plant that was hit last August. Yes pictures were published.
Russia has successfully hit military targets in eastern Ukraine such as the Abrams tank that have been destroyed, the Patriot missile launcher(s) that were destroyed,, and two Ukrainian helicopters destroyed recently. However, the only thing they have hit in central or western Ukraine in the last few months have been civilian targets. Do you have any more examples of military targets that Russia has hit in western Ukraine recently? Honest question becuase I do not remember any but my memory is far from perfect.

Ukraine's problem is that getting conscripted has been a one-way ticket to the front. Guys there have been fighting for two years now, and a fair system would train replacements for them and allow them to go home. That's one of the big challenges for the new Ukrainian conscription law: putting a limit on the required term of service.
Also it does not help that the minimum age for conscription is 27. That means anyone 18-26 years old can only enter military service voluntarily. Ukraine also needs to figure out why 700,000 of its mobilized troops have not been used. Ukraine's problem is not lack of bodies. It is a lack of a plan to effectively use the bodies it has.
quote:
The other challenge is that, now that Putin has been "re-elected," Russia is planning to significantly increase the size of its army, and Ukraine will need to respond.
Russia faces the same problem as Ukraine. Both sides problems come from systems designed under the Soviets. Remember the massive problems Russia had when trying to mobilize troops back in the fall of 2022. If they try to do another out of rotation mass mobilization they will likely have the same problems again.
