That’s Pollyanna thinking.

The Korean and Vietnam negotiations took months. The Ukes and Russians have negotiated now for over a decade.

You guys who believe this war can be settled in a week only if Z calls Putin up are kidding yourself.

Don't forget that the peace accords that people say Boris Johnson tanked, Putin is on record saying the outline wouldn't work because Ukraine wanted Security guarantees

Key Takeaways:

Russian forces appear to be willing to risk continued aviation losses in pursuit of tactical gains in eastern Ukraine, likely along the Avdiivka-Donetsk City line.

Transfers of North Korean weapons to Russia by sea apparently paused as of mid-February 2024.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov publicly rejected Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s recent offer to host a negotiation platform for Russia and Ukraine.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov used the Antalya Diplomatic Forum to promote Kremlin narratives about Moldova, likely to set conditions for potential Kremlin hybrid operations that aim to destabilize Moldova and prevent Moldova’s accession to the European Union (EU).

Senior Russian officials acknowledged Armenia’s reduced participation in the Russia-led Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), marking a notable shift in Russian official rhetoric that previously sought to ignore Armenian efforts to distance itself from the CSTO.

The Kremlin appears to have largely permitted displays of anti-war sentiment in Moscow as Russians observed Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny’s funeral on March 1.

Russian forces made confirmed advances near Kreminna, Avdiivka, and Krynky on March 2.

Russian Deputy Defense Minister Timur Ivanov inspected a Russian shipbuilding facility and the construction site of a new military hospital in the Republic of Dagestan during a working trip to Russia’s Southern Military District on March 2.

It’s wild to me how Q tards were going on and on about the “CIA and the Army” shooting at each other in 2020 in Germany over dominion machines or some dumb shite and the Russian equivalent of the FBI/CIA actually is getting into gun fights with nebulous “militants”

That’s their opinion just like those that predict Russia will win. It’s their opinion.

Time will tell, but right now Russia seems to have regained momentum. But it’s silly to act if one side had demonstrated an ability to predict the outcome correctly.

You guys just amaze me.

Look at the facts. The war is at a standstill, are you kidding me???? Russia has retaken Crimea a decade ago, Donbas for two years and just kicked was left of the ukraine army's arse in two cities where they had sworn was the forbidden red line.

ukraine lost most of their experienced military. They have squandered 100s of billions in financial support. All the whiz bang weapons and intel from the entire western world has not done squad against Russia as they continue to progress.

Read the international reports. Like the one from the ukranian on the "conscription team, with one arm where most of his former comrades from the front are also maimed or dead and he cant understand why ukranian men are dodging the war.

Or the Russian soldier on the front who said, Ukranians are our comrades its the west who provoked this and the US continuing it.

It will end when Trump gets in office and cuts the funding once and for all. And maybe, just maybe Russia will let Ukraine keep part of their country. You idiots act as if Ukraine has a negotiating leg to stand on. You sound like Persians negotiating with Alexander the Great...or a Monty Python skit.

It’s not for the best, but Russia will eventually come out on top. Hopefully a peace deal will come sooner than later and Russia will almost certainly walk away with more territory than it had before. That’s just the way it’s going to be and anyone that thinks otherwise are just fooling themselves.

That outcome does seem likely at this time.
I am not arguing otherwise.

But many don’t understand that Ukraine is going to keep fighting. Like the Confederates in the Civil War they will refuse to give up to the Russians as bad as things appear. The hatred of the Russians is deep rooted and that’s what many of you are missing.

Which is a recipe for continued, and probably widened, conflict. What parties do both sides trust enough to broker a settlement? And who's impartial enough and strong enough to enforce it?

This ends when Ukraine runs out of men or Russian internal conflict breaks out into the open and the Russian army goes home to fight in the civil war.
