Literally all this is false. The poliboard thinks they were right. They weren’t.

So they want to strengthen their power by weakening what they have power over? How does that make sense?

Imo it's why they hate populists so much and work overtime to demonize Milei, Le Pen, Wilders, Elon, Farage, Trump, Bolsinaro, Assange, Tucker, Etc.

If the deep state has control over everything, how does electing populists threaten them? What are any of these people going to do?

Trumps election is a perfect example of this. He was completely neutered by The Machine. They are not scared of populists in the near term of one being elected. They are scared of populists though over time building a following strong enough to do something.

Please explain how attacking people who are literally “popular” and bringing attention to a hidden “deep state” helps the deep state.

WTF is Ukraine doing? If i’m the commander of the Ukrainian forces I’m saying frick Avdiivka and I’m going to strengthen my 2nd biggest city in the country that is so close to Russia in Kharkiv. I hope they were smart enough to already have made hardened defensive lines around that city but if they haven’t they better get started. Make minefield after minefield with trench lines covering them just like the Russians did to stop the counteroffensive. I believe Russia is going to go all out towards Kharkiv this year at some point and if Ukraine loses that city then they are in big trouble.

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
@CinC_AFU

Colonel General Oleksandr Syrskyi

Based on the operational situation around Avdiyivka, in order to avoid encirclement and preserve the lives and health of servicemen, I decided to withdraw our units from the city and move to defense on more favorable lines.

The above post would be a great time for "reasonable Republicans" prominent in this thread to meet me half way and we find common ground.

LOL.

What? Putin isn't half-bad? Half of your insane conspiracy theories are true? Dylan Mulvaney is halfway hot? Where were you thinking this would go?

All the donations have been well over 100 billion and they have managed to lose a good chunk of their country and 100s of thousands of men. Does anyone actually think another 60 billion is going to make a difference?????

The only reason for the money is more kickbacks.

Russia has lost 200000 men and controls less of Ukraine that it did on 2-23-22.

ISW Update

quote:

Key Takeaways:

Ukrainian forces have begun to withdraw from Avdiivka, and Russian forces appear to be focused on complicating or preventing a complete Ukrainian withdrawal.

Ukrainian forces may have to conduct counterattacks to conduct an orderly withdrawal from Avdivika, and Russian efforts to complicate or prevent a Ukrainian withdrawal may become increasingly attritional.

Germany and France both signed bilateral security agreements with Ukraine on February 16.

NATO officials are increasingly warning that Russia poses a significant threat to NATO’s security.

Independent Russian survey data suggests that most Russians are largely apathetic towards Russia’s war in Ukraine, particularly Russians who have not personally lost family members in Ukraine and are thus able to avoid thinking about the war entirely.

The Russian reaction to the reported death of imprisoned opposition politician Alexei Navalny on February 16 was relatively muted.

Russian forces recently made confirmed advances along the Kupyansk-Svatove-Kreminna line, northwest of Bakhmut, and near Avdiivka.

Russian President Vladimir Putin continues to posture himself as an involved and effective wartime leader.

Russian-controlled courts in occupied Ukraine continue to pass harsh sentences on Ukrainian prisoners of war (POWs).

This might actually be one of the more honest things you've said in this thread. I'd also like to point out that's textbook what a RINO is.

Trump is not an ideologue. He's a business minded problem solver and most of the screwed up stuff in our government is of liberal and demprog's doing.

Which party do you usually vote for and why?

What is your age?

What is your belief about Russia collusion? Who was behind it?

With all the media available, I bet you still don't know...

And the 51 intel agents who signed an affidavit stating the Hunter laptop was Russia propaganda...knowing what we know now, do you think they signed to help defeat Trump or they were truly clueless?

not completely confirmed, but widely reported...

reuters...

Alexei Navalny, Russian opposition leader, dies in Arctic jail

Summary

Navalny dies in Russian prison after walk, says prison service

Opposition leader said to have lost consciousness

President Putin informed of death of his main domestic critic

Supporters say Navalny was murdered, cannot confirm death

Western officials laud Navalny, condemn Putin

EDIT: Russian prison service confirms Navalny died.

What I find interesting is America gets all fired up and wants to take out Putin... John McCains son called for Putin's assassination...

Meanwhile, 300 per day die of Opioid overdose in America.

5 years ago it was 200 per day.

8 million illegal crossings in America under Biden. 3 years...

20,000 Chinese nationalist have crossed into America since jan 1 2024. Read that again..

America is in fricking trouble...

And our media wants you to hate Putin...rather than worry about what's going inside America.

Why are so many blind or naive?

America has dropped the most bombs in history by a large margin...while playing the role of "peace keepers" or "protecting Democracy"

Our empire isn't what we like to think of ourselves...
