Because of the points you listed above, Russia is not willing to negotiate anything short of keeping all the territories it currently has, the removal of the current government and install Russian puppet, and no NATO for Ukraine.
If there really was a deal in place early in the war where Ukraine got provisional NATO membership (or something of the sort, I can't remember exactly) and Russia kept those territories, it should have been taken.
This war ends in a peace deal or Ukraine is wiped out. I don't think a "Russia loses" scenario exists unless other countries start sending troops, which should be totally off the table.

Big mistake replacing Zaluzhny. The men under his command liked him which if you’ve ever served means a lot. This new guy seems like he’s more about the old soviet style doctrine of war and will get more Ukrainians killed. What’s done is done though now so they need to put Zaluzhny somewhere he can be an asset if he’s in fact willing to even be part of the show. He was good relating with western military leaders so that could be a good spot for him as a military ambassador.

I doubt this has much to do with military expertise. The last time zelensky shuffled direct reports was when all the theft was disclosed. US intel said the people he removed were the ones complaining about all the theft. I suspect this is the case as well.
Merely setting the table for the next windfall from American taxpayers.

Is anyone watching the Putin interview, I am 36 minutes in and Tucker has barely said a word, he is just letting Putin give a Russian/Ukrainian history lesson, extremely similar to the one he gave in his address to Russia at the beginning of the war. I just wonder when the interview will start.
ETA 51 minutes in now and Tucker has clarified 2 points and ask what was the specific point that led Putin to invade, he id not call it invade. Putin then starts back over in 2008. BTW anyone watching this remember you can speed up Twitter video.

Sounds like there was a deal two years ago. Russia keeps the land that historically has been occupied by Russians, no nato, and life goes on.
Or this senseless killing continues fueled only by US taxpayer dollars, which I hope has finally ended.
Europe's paltry contribution wont be enough to pay their social benefits and their civil servants, much less arm them. Which shows just how much concern they have that Russia is a threat. Its 50 billion OVER FOUR YEARS, and 33 billion of that is a loan. You are kidding right? They have burnt through 100 billion already, 12 billion a year???????

Of the last 100 years, that Russian occupied land was the product of Stalin's Russification program after he starved 5 or 6 million Ukrainians to death. It's an old story.

In the crazy event that the US were somehow to withdraw from NATO (as some mentally disturbed people suggest), I fully expect Poland to lead a "coalition of the willing" in directly fighting in the war.
The Poles, Balts, and a lot of others in Europe know that, absent the US security umbrella, the one thing that they absolutely cannot do is allow Russia to win in Ukraine and then rebuild their military.

To be fair to Tucker it's hard to talk with Putin's nutsack in his mouth.

It's really funny that Tucker was hoping Putin would blame NATO and the US for the invasion of Ukraine. But instead, Putin basically gave the standard Soviet argument that Ukraine is a fake country and Russia has the right to all of it.

Sounds like you have been listening to a bunch of nonsense.

It continues because Ukraine doesn’t want to be subjugated by Russia, with Western help and yes US help too.

I finished it up and I think I now know Tucker's motivation. If you listed to the last 10 or so minutes it is clear he thought there was a chance Putin would send Evan Gershkovich back to the US on the plane with Tucker. Putin was having none of that and Tucker pushed harder on that than anything else over the course of 2 hours. In that regard I applaud him since you miss all the shots you don't take, but it is clear you can't suck up enough to Putin to have him release what he is positive is a person that was engaged in espionage.
Also, anyone who wants to see the true heart and intention of Putin on the Ukraine issue listen to the last ~3 minutes when he gives his story from the battlefield. This is the only time in the entire interview he strayed from the obvious script. The man who made the point he made will not be satisfied until all of Ukraine is back within Russian control.

Putin has some serious omissions in his ramble on history.
He says that Poland cooperated with Germany yet never mentions that Russia allowed Germany to build up its forces and train inside of Russia pre WWII, the reason was to hide the build up from members of the Treaty of Versailles.

Yeah can’t believe he didn’t cover every single thing that happened over 1,000+ years

He expounded on how Poland enabled Germany, nary a mention of what Russia did. It's everyone else's fault.
No mention of Russia trying to conquer Poland post WWI.
Imagine that.

Did either of your boys mention that Russia partnered with NATO and wanted full membership without having to achieve milestones, mostly regarding corruption? I guess not.
