Not now that they have declared war. They are doing in with the intention of staying. Biden isn’t going to like that one bit but I got a feeling Netanyahu might just tell him a body part he can suck on. We can’t really talk though, if we were in the Israeli’s situation we would do the same. Actually would have already done it if this were the U.S.

May Volodymyr Zelenskyy's corrupt reign end before the calender reaches 2024.

Armenia just voted to join the ICC. Now Putin cannot visit for fear of being arrested

From their point of view, it's now obvious that the decision to leave Gaza was a big mistake.

Not really, Egypt didn't want it and let Israel keep it. Gaza is basically a giant hood rat housing project, nothing but problems every single day whether in Arab hands or Israeli hands

The $6 billion in Iranian frozen money that Biden just released in exchange for a few Americans held captive by Iran? That money likely helped fund today's massacres.

All of the Obama and Biden deals with Iran stink to a whole new level today.

Biden may not like Netanyahu, but he has no choice but to back Israel to the hilt right now. And, in general, I would say that Biden needs to appear tough, which might also mean more weapons to Ukraine. I certainly don't see any way that today's attacks by Hamas will benefit Russia.

EDIT: Let me also say that today will silence, at least temporarily, those who say that America shouldn't help its allies and say that anyone who opposes Iran and its terrorist allies is a "neocon." There will only be a few people saying "America First! No aid to Israel."

It’s the 50th anniversary of the Yom Kippur war. This attack has been planned for a long time - probably years. Recent events probably haven’t influenced this attack at all.

Plus it’s not like Iran actually got $6 billion dollars. We allowed that money to be transferred to Qatar to be used to purchase food and medicine under international supervision.

Money is fungible. $6b for food and medicine is $6b they don't have to spend on food and medicine from their own accounts and can be allocated to other uses.

Qatar plays both sides (Iran/Saudi Arabia). It's not like sanctions on Iran were anything resembling being air tight. Lots of trade between Iran and UAE, such as bitumen (asphalt) and base oil for lubricants, which ends up anywhere in the world blended out of identity, even the USA. Goods go to Iran just the same, as well

You could definitely argue that the release of Iranian money could affect future terrorist operations by Iran. But today’s attack was years in the making. Who knows how long it took them to smuggle all the rockets they used into Gaza.

I don’t understand how the Israeli government was caught with their pants down. It’s the 50th anniversary of the Yom Kippur war and it’s like their whole military outside of the Gaza Strip was on vacation

Wasn't arguing this, just the point that Iran didn't "technically" receive the money. They sure did.

Ya, definitely going to leave a mark on the psyche of their armed forces and their response for years to come.

The neocon chicken hawks on here so conflicted rn. We've been telling you this unholy Biden / shitlib / Ukraine / nwo alliance is a recipe for disaster. Healthy majority now against further funding.

One giant step closer to global conflict now thanks to policies you lot support

I think that Hamas wasn't factoring in the US at all, but if anything, what happened today is a result of US weakness.

What we are seeing today is more of the same:

- The disastrous Trump/Biden decision to give Afghanistan back to the Taliban

- Biden's weak and cowardly response to Russian aggression in Ukraine. Biden could've given Ukraine ATACMS and Abrams in the first week of the conflict and enabled Ukraine to kick Russia out.

- The long-term Obama/Biden weakness towards Iran.

- Increasing GOP opposition to US military spending and a lack of support for our allies.
