WASHINGTON, June 26 (Reuters) - The United States plans to announce as soon as Tuesday a new military aid package for Ukraine worth up to $500 million, keeping up U.S. resolve to help Ukraine against Russia as Moscow deals with a mutiny by some of its soldiers.
The package will include ground vehicles as Ukraine presses its counteroffensive, two U.S. officials said. Expected to be included are 30 Bradley fighting vehicles and 25 Stryker armored personnel carriers, one of the officials said.
As a part of the aid package, Ukraine will receive munitions for High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS), anti-tank weapons including Javelins and munitions for Patriot and Stinger anti-aircraft systems, according to the officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity.
The package was still being finalized and could change, they said. The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
The package would be funded using Presidential Drawdown Authority, or PDA, which authorizes the president to transfer articles and services from U.S. stocks without congressional approval during an emergency. The material will come from U.S. excess inventory.
The security assistance package would be the 41st approved by the United States for Ukraine since the Russian invasion in February 2022, for a total of more than $40 billion.

Prigozhin recorded his first audio message after his march. Main points:
?? Wagner PMC was to cease existing on 1st July 2023 due to ministry of defense manipulations;
??First the mercenaries planned to transfer their military equipment to MoD in Rostov on 1st July, but then a missile attack was performed on their camps (Prigozhin says about 30 mercenaries died - earlier he said about "thousands" of losses)
?? their "Justice march" (as Prigozhin calls it) has demonstrated huge problems with security in Russia - Wagnerites had no resistance;
??Russian people support Wagner and asked them to continue;
??Mercenaries did not intend to overthrow the regime in Russia.

Summary of Prigozhin's 26 June address to clarify the situation: it was to demonstrate protest against the "destruction of PMC Wagner, not toppling the Russian authorities":
What were the prerequisites for the March for Justice?
- PMC Wagner carries out tasks around the world. It was meant to stop existing on 1 July 2023. “Employees” all refused to sign the contract with MoD, only 1-2% decided to join the Russian army.
- The original plan was to go to Rostov on 30 July and transfer all vehicles to MoD, which were ready for transport.
- Despite any aggression, Wagner suffered a missile attack, followed by helicopter attack. Around 30 PMC Wagner fighters died. This triggered an immediate decision to move out early and respond militarily.
- Throughout the 24-hour march, one column went to Moscow, another to Rostov. They made 780 km of progress in one day. They regret being forced to attack the army aircraft but the bombs were dropped which caused the response. During the march, all military objects on the way were blocked and disarmed. None of the military have died on the ground.
- The objective was to not allow destruction of Wagner and take to responsiblity those who with their unprofessional actions made a huge number of mistakes during the SMO. All the military met along the way supported this.
- Wagner stopped when the advanced storm unit deployed artillery, conducted reconnaissance and realised a lot of blood will be shed in an upcoming battle. They decided that demonstration of the protest was enough, and turned around.
- Factors that made Wagner turn around: first, they didn’t want to shed Russian blood. Secondly, they wanted to demonstrate their portest, not overtake the authority in Russia.
- Lukashenko offered to find solutions for further legal operation of Wagner legally. Columns turned aroound and went back to field camps.
- The march showed many things demonstrated before. Serious secruity concerns around the country. All military bases and airfields were blocked.
- If actions on 24 Feb 2022 were done by forces as trained as Wagner, the special operation could have ended in 1 day. This shows the level of organisation that the Russian army should be following.

The guy's backtracking on his origian goals real bad here, also says Wagner didn't kill any Russian military "on the ground", which is false, according to reports.
Also, what sort of "legal framework" can Luka provide?

Currently, there is no data to confirm the information about the construction of a camp for the PMC Wagner in the Asipovichy district, Belarus.
1/6
Today, the Russian media Wyorstka reported that construction of a camp for Wagner mercenaries allegedly began in the Asipovichy district. It’s said that the journalists received confirming comments in the forestry and a source “close to the administration of Mahiliou region.”
2/6
The text says that there will allegedly be several camps for 8000 mercenaries and that the current camp area is 24,000 square meters.
In addition, the post says that several relatives of the PMC Wagner mercenaries confirm that they will be sent to Belarus.
3/6
What can the Belarusian Hajun say?
As of 17:30 26.06, we can definitely say that in the past 24 hours there has been no activity in the Asipovichy district, not to mention the construction of such a large facility.
4/6
The data of a foreign (Russian) edition that they were able to get comments from sources close to the administration of Mahiliou region are questionable. However, Belarusian independent media haven’t received such comments and haven’t confirmed this information yet.
5/6
As for the possible transfer of the PMC Wagner mercenaries to Belarus, we will be able to confirm or deny this information by direct observation. Currently, there are no PMC columns moving to Belarus or that are already in Belarus.
We continue to monitor the situation.

Very well could be true, but it seems like the MoD guys were about to get Wagner under the MoD thumb and thus it smells more like a rationalization than a reason to me. Is there any confirmation that there was any missile strike?

No idea. I really don;t care one way or the other. It's interesting though.
Putin is known for killing off people that have left Russia after opposing him. To agree to this is death. Noway Putin can afford to allow him to live.
Group C: USA Hoax and Russia is stronger for it
quote:
Putin stronger, Wagner & it’s Neo-Nazi leadership is still in tact, Putin was able to oust some of his adversarial Generals who talked him into going after Ukraine, the Russian people rejoice because the Ukraine war is over with, and the US/West blew billions.

Don't forget the two campfires. Clearly a missile strike
I really don't buy the missile strike video, it just looks too fake to me. Then again, I'm not military and have no background so if I'm wrong I'm wrong.
