Puppet State...
Well shite, I guess China is a puppet state too since they can't invade Taiwan without aid ramifications

so NATO countries that have received Swiss ammo that cannot send said ammo to Ukraine without approval is also a Puppet state?
A puppet state would be the Philippians after the Spanish American war... we had US troops and a US governor. Is Israel a puppet state since we give them weapons with conditions?
It is just simply the west giving aide with political usage strings attached, because the west fears quick escalation..

Correct. Meanwhile the hardened men of Ukraine and Russia are dying so we can hold on to some fake cold war victory.

Russia can stop that whenever they want.
Russia starts the war, keeps the war going (theyre still trying to take territory no?), but the west is the bad guy prolonging the war by helping the side getting invaded.
When your anti war stance comes down to practically giving Russia what they want for doing this... it rings hollow.

Good video summary of the battle of Bakhmut from the UK's Telegraph. About 11 minutes.
How Russia took Bakhmut: 'It's about bleeding the other side'
How Russia took Bakhmut: 'It's about bleeding the other side'

and it was certainly the longest Battle of this war. It's longer than most battles in World War I. It's certainly the longest battle for a single city that Russia or Ukraine has fought since the Second World War. Now it's over. Is it really going to change the course of the war?
I think it's one of those battles where the results are going to show up for for months and years to come and not necessarily around Bakhmut. The results of this are about attrition. It's about how many men were lost how much ammunition was lost. How many resources were poured into that battle by both sides that could have been better used elsewhere. The war of movement is likely to resume Elsewhere on the front but when historians write the history of the war in Ukraine Bakhmut will be a very important chapter.

Girkin on his Telegram channel:

Even I - the "ensign-reenactor" famous for my stupidity, alarmism and cowardice - warned about the upcoming enemy attack (by the way - not the last, I'm sure) on our territory ahead of time. AND? And so they invaded. And even, it turns out, successfully. We got in. Now we will knock them out, destroying our own settlements. One word - well done!
The fact that this is not an "offensive" is unlikely to console the inhabitants of those villages that for half a year experienced growing shelling by enemy artillery, and now they have met enemy soldiers on their streets. My congratulations to the GRU General Staff, the 5th Service of the FSB of the Russian Federation, the intelligence service of the FPS of the FSB of Russia and everyone else involved! Keep it up!

According to our information, the Russians have urgently evacuated a nuclear munitions storage facility in the Belgorod oblast, Ukraine's Intel spox Andrii Yusov says.

Well it took a few days, but I finally got a recent satellite image of the site that hit outside of Khmelnytskyi. This was the site of the massive explosion a little over a week ago.
To recap, Russia says they hit a major Ukraine weapon storage site. The site is actually known as the "Hrechany demilitarization site" It is a repository of old soviet weapons and land mines waiting for disposal.
Rybar had posted an image of the site that was from 10/24/21
Without a recent picture of the site, there was no way to know if the Ukrainians had been using it for munitions storage.
So I registered for an account with EarthCache and paid $10 to get their most recent picture of the site which was from 3/17/23
Here is that picture
By comparing the two images, you can see that as recently as 3/17, there had been no change in the site which would mean that Russia blew up a decommissioning site filled with old Soviet-era weapons.
This is the picture of damage to the site that Rybar posted

Doesn’t matter. He worked hard as a self made man to be able to afford it. He probably made his own meth. He’s a man’s man

See, this is the BS I can’t even begin to wrap my head around with how some think.
I can understand some folks with their attempts at explaining that we shouldn’t be sending weapons and such, but making up stuff like this is ignorant.
