This source has been fairly solid; however, this feels like propaganda to me.
If its true, wow

I don't even know how to comment on it.

Rybar published before and after pictures of the facility hit in Khmelnytsky (The massive explosion seen a couple of days ago). There hasn't been a lot of commentary on this from the Ukrainian side which I think lends credence to the fact it wasn't just diesel. Doesn't look like a diesel storage facility.

Consequences of the ammo depot strike in Khmelnytsky. Most of it was destroyed by the explosion and secondary detonations. The physical toll is obviously huge. In fact, this is one of the most effective and efficient strikes of the whole SMO.

The Russians are fielding the best sniper rifles. Watch the video

A known old Soviet missile storage site.

What kind of rifles are those?

Pre WWI Mosin-Nagant rifles. They added a scope. Truly pathetic.

On doing some deeper digging this site is known as the "Hrechany demilitarization site"
It is a repository of old soviet weapons and land mines waiting for disposal.
Page 35 of this PDF discusses it

Looks like a variety of old munitions were stored there. Russia probably destroyed it to keep Ukraine from using it.

Maybe. Or maybe, Russia blew it up just to make a big explosion that milbloggers could promote to boost morale.

Satellite photo clearly shows old solid fueled missiles inside berms. Most of the site looks like it is overgrown with trees, bushes, etc..

They're Mosin-Nagant rifles. Which would be just fine as a sniper rifles if it's all you had. 7.62x54R is very similar to the .308 so it has plenty of punch. But without any modern glass on that thing, you better be really, really good.
That gun more than likely can outshoot it's scope. Most of those style scopes have 3x or 3.5x magnification on them.thats gonna put you out to 350 yds or so, but past that, it's almost useless. Not to mention, it's not worth a shite in low light conditions like modern scopes.

Simo Haya used a variation of it and he used the iron sites. He has around 500 kills.

These are the GPS Coordinates of the site. Using Google Earths history function you can see the site over time. It immediately stands out that there wasn't much change in the last 10 years.
The most recent satellite photo is from 2021, before the war, so it is possible Ukraine has used it to store other stuff.

My comments from the satellite photo:
1) does not appear to be any ruts. no tracks, nothing.
they would have had to use equipment to set the stores inside the berms. all the grass seems to have completely filled in everywhere
2) do not see any equipment, trucks, forklifts, ect. no vehicles whatsoever around the berms or the buildings to the north
it just does not look (to the untrained eye) that this facility has been used recently for anything.

Just keep in mind the most recent photo from Google earth (what Rybar posted) is from 10/24/2021. So it wouldn't show any usage since the beginning of the war.
I'm searching right now to see what a recent satellite image would cost to acquire.
ETA I signed up for an account with Skywatch, where I can get a hires image of the site for what looks to be $10. As soon as my account is approved I will buy it and see what it shows.

Ah, i assumed Rybar was posting recent satellite photos. Hopefully one of the MilBlog sites buys recent imagery and shares it. i do see that there are empty berms and some bunkers on the site. i would imagine you wouldn't want to put something new, next to something so volatile as old rockets, but then again, outside of my pay grade
EDIT: re-examining the two photos, the locations of the large craters seem to coincide with the berms that were stocked with rocket pieces, while the empty ones seem to have less damage....

would/could Ukraine also have stored ammunition intended for use in the war there as well?

Very old and unstable so not likely unless you want a barrel to blow up like a Looney Tunes cartoon
