There may be a small forward element but it wouldn’t do much good to have a team there for exfil. There’s no flexibility in that. There is 100% a fairly robust QRF in a neighboring country ready to conduct any kind of operation necessary. That’s just SOP.

Note that the very major pipeline to China has NOT been built and no move to even start building it. Russia cannot afford the cost.

Two friends served in embassies when they were in the USMC. Even in podunk country embassies, as the one who served in Ethopia, have a few.

Daqfuq, you claimed how China and Russia had become podnas. Not true at all. China is just sticking it harder and deeper up Russia's rectum is all, and without vaseline, and Russia likes it. China still buying LNG from Australia instead, even though it costs more money to just to liquify.
