I do think it’s foolish. From the start to right now. This stuff coming out is going to get us involved further, is my point.
It was so dumb. We cannot help other countries like this that we have no obligation to do so. It’s sad, war is hell, but it’s not our job here. Zelensky is a piece of shite for not just talking to Putin and encouraging a potato to drag us into this.

Putin could pull troops out of Ukraine tomorrow morning if he chose to. No one is forcing him or Russia to remain in Ukraine.

If it weren't bad enough that every detail in Hersh's Nord Stream piece has been proven false, he's just doubled down on every fake bit of it. Like, when all the evidence is shown to him that the ships he says were in one place were in fact in another place, he just sticks his fingers in his ears.

It does happen in special circumstances. I know for a fact there were a bunch at the embassy in Baghdad when we killed Soleimani, my brother was there.

I doubt this one is. We’re not going to defend the embassy against the Russian army. And I can’t think of many instances where SOF dudes have been assigned to an embassy for the specific purpose of defending it. Now in most conflict zones there will be some special dudes at the embassy or hanging out nearby doing other shite and would obviously show up if they were needed.
