Its clear you don't know me.
I don't support what I do because of some naive belief that nations are moral.
The US aren't the "good guys" anymore than the Russians are the "bad guys". There is no such thing as either.
This is just global politics, nations compete against each other and have always been willing to shed blood to do so. Today is no different.
The US will do what it must to benefit itself, as all nations should.
That means I Support Ukraine, Oppose Russia and China.
There is no political justification for not supporting Ukraine, only ideological ones which are irrelevant in global politics.

No, dude, the Russian are the fricking bad guys here. I can say it and so should you. Russia invaded a sovereign nation and has murdered civilians by the thousands and are engaging in child smuggling, genocide and mass murder/rape. Putin is a psychopath and jails or kills anyone that speaks against him. Drop the moral relativism routine.

If that's what you believe, that's fine.
Since the defeat of Russia suits both your interests and the interests of the United States, what's the difference? We're on the same side here, regardless of how we get there.

Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov visited Athens Thursday as part of regular meetings with officials from NATO countries. He was promised more artillery and small arms ammunition shipments, access to Greek hospitals for wounded military personnel and additional Soviet-era BMP infantry fighting vehicles.

Greece has a large stock of Soviet era armored vehicles too. Not sure what the ratio of operational to scrap for parts are with them but either way they would be useful. The Rosomak armored vehicles Zelensky purchased from Poland are going to be the self propelled 120 mm heavy mortar type which will comprise 3 batteries or 24 vehicles.

Depends on which sources you think would provide that. The main "non-biased" source would be onyx only because it's visually confirmed losses, but it's way under reported because of that. Ukraine overstates russian losses and doesnt report its own and Russia understates its losses and way overstates Ukraines (I think they've destroyed every HIMRAS 3 times now)
Perun discussed this in a recent video either last Sunday or the Sunday before.
Russia has always used a mathematical formula to calculate opponent KIA/WIA. If their artillery barrage is off by a mile, they still report what the expected casualties would be if dead on target as actual casualties. There are also bonuses and promotions for their officers for achieving so many KIA/WIA further making their claims way the frick higher than actual. Russia also doesn't have to pay benefits to relatives if not reporting KIA.

The names sound similar, so I understand why it's confusing. You are talking about the 24 M120 RAK self-propelled mortars, which we haven't mentioned before in here.
That's a different thing from the 150 Rosomak amphibious infantry fighting vehicles that Poland is also sending to Ukraine.

Ukrainian War plans leaked
quote:
WASHINGTON — Classified war documents detailing secret American and NATO plans for building up the Ukrainian military ahead of a planned offensive against Russia were posted this week on social media channels, senior Biden administration officials said. The Pentagon is investigating who may have been behind the leak of the documents, which appeared on Twitter and on Telegram, a platform with more than half a billion users that is widely available in Russia. Military analysts said the documents appear to have been modified in certain parts from their original format, overstating American estimates of Ukrainian war dead and understating estimates of Russian troops killed.

Ukrainian War plans leaked
OSINT has been a real issue even without leaks, it is a new day on that front. The thing for Russia in this case is whether it is real or whether it is a ruse. If Russian intelligence wasn't so diminished they would have already known the plans.

More details:
quote:
The documents do not provide specific battle plans, like how, when, and where Ukraine intends to launch its offensive. And because the documents are five weeks old, they offer a snapshot of time — the American and Ukrainian view, as of March 1, of what Ukrainian troops might need for the campaign.
To the trained eye of a Russian war planner, field general or intelligence analyst, however, the documents no doubt offer many tantalizing clues. The documents mention, for instance, the expenditure rate of HIMARS — American-supplied High Mobility Artillery Rocket System munitions, which can launch attacks against targets like ammunition dumps, infrastructure and concentrations of troops, from a distance. The Pentagon has not said publicly how fast Ukrainian troops are using the HIMARs munitions; the documents do.
quote:
Nonetheless, analysts said parts of the documents appeared authentic and would provide Russia with valuable information such as the timetables for the delivery of weapons and troops, Ukrainian troop buildup numbers and other military details.
A document labeled “top secret” offers the “Status of the Conflict as of 1 Mar.” On that day, Ukrainian officials were at an American base in Weisbaden, Germany, for war game sessions, and a day later, Gen. Mark A. Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and Gen. Christopher Cavoli, the supreme allied commander for Europe, visited the sessions.
Another document includes columns that list Ukrainian troop units, equipment and training, with schedules for January through April. The document contains a summary of 12 combat brigades that are being assembled, with nine of them apparently being trained and supplied by the United States and other NATO allies. Of those nine brigades, the documents said that six would be ready by March 31 and the rest by April 30. A Ukrainian brigade has about 4,000 to 5,000 soldiers, analysts said.
The document said that equipment delivery times would affect training and readiness to meet the timeline. Total equipment needed for nine brigades, the document said, was more than 250 tanks and more than 350 mechanized vehicles.
quote:
Throughout the war, the United States has provided Ukraine with information on command posts, ammunition depots and other key nodes in the Russian military lines. Such real-time intelligence has allowed the Ukrainians to target Russian forces, kill senior generals and force ammunition supplies to be moved farther from the Russian front lines, though U.S. officials say Ukraine has played the decisive role in planning and execution of those strikes.
But early on during the war, Ukrainian officials were hesitant about sharing their battle plans with the United States, for fear of leaks, American and European officials said. As recently as last summer, American intelligence officials said they often had a better understanding of Russia’s military plans than of Ukraine’s.
The intelligence sharing between Ukraine and the United States loosened up considerably last fall, and the two countries have been working closely on options for a Ukrainian offensive.

A retired friend was an Army captain 1980ish in intel in West Germany. They never shared everything they had with the West Germans due leakage to East Germany.

Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov told @RFERL that no more than 5 people on the planet have knowledge of where, when and how the Ukrainian Defense Forces will launch a counteroffensive as the information about the time and place is classified.

But Trump had classified documents in Mar-a-Lago. Or they are worried about Trump paying off a pint star.
Seriously how can this happen???? Biden and his administration need to be held accountable.
