With Putin getting hammered financially, Elon Musk might finally be the clear leader in the richest guy in the world competition.

Things will for sure escalate now. Joining the EU is the same As joining NATO to Putin.

Other than Turkey’s strategic geographic positioning, How does NATO justify Turkey being a part of the NATO alliance? Turkey is basically an Islamic dictatorship
They joined in 1952. Expelling would come with more issues than it solves I imagine.

Could be COVID, or COVID as cover, I suppose. I vaguely think I recall seeing a similar thing some months ago w/ Putin.
I’ve read he’s very afraid of catching Covid.

Wikipedia has a pretty good animated map showing Russian advances (and territorial losses) since the invasion started.

Upside is he must be concerned of dying…….so, throwing a nuke assures his demise at some point.
Granted, they won’t kill him immediately as they’d need him alive for possible de-escalation.

CNN has abandoned Kyiv, I assume it’s lost ...
What a fantastic assumption. But in all seriousness, really sorry your savior Putin hasn’t won yet. Don’t worry, he will and you can feel great about it and openly support him vs the between the lines support you’re current showing. Just hang in there. We all know it’s going to happen.

You can watch some of these drone videos and get the precise location of the targets in the metadata on the bottom left.

Putin will win this battle. This conflict matters deeply to him. The western powers don’t have to will to keep Ukraine that Putin does to take it back.
How does Russia fare in the long run with all the sanctions? I have no idea. But Putin will win this battle and Ukraine will be under Russian control.
It took the U.S. 3 weeks to take Iraq. We’re only on day 5 in Ukraine.
BBC: "Putin's war prompts dramatic German U-Turn"
During an emergency parliamentary session on Ukraine on Sunday, Chancellor Scholz announced an additional $113bn (£84bn) for the German army.
Undeterred, Mr Scholz went on to announce drastic measures that would have been unthinkable a week ago, including a constitutional commitment to Nato's military spending target of 2% of GDP - and he confirmed that Germany would be sending weapons direct to Ukraine.
Within a few days Vladimir Putin has managed to do what Nato allies have spent years trying to achieve: a massive increase of military spending in Germany.
This is arguably one of the biggest shifts ever seen in Germany's post-war foreign policy.
But Russia's invasion of Ukraine has shocked and stunned Germany's government and German voters.
Putin gambled and just lost because he has coalesced Europe with his action and now they realize Trump was correct all along and are quickly adopting his positions on NATO.
