I get the idea that OML expects something to happen at exactly 32 degrees F and not before then. 33 F? No riots. 31 F? Mass panic. Genius.
Do you know how cold Europe gets? No, he’s turning off the gas when it gets in the low teens to single digits Fahrenheit. He’s not going to do it yet.

I don’t see how any of those statements contradict what I’ve been saying. By all data we’re having food shortages. Now I was wrong that they’d make major announcements of that in late October/early November, but the administration was warning of this in July. I’ll admit they’re either really ignoring the problem, or the shortages weren’t as severe as I feared.

The claims no, but you keep shifting the deadline of when they are supposed to occur

I do.
Western Europe isnt going to sit in the teens for weeks on end. There's a whole bunch of water around to keep things moderated.

Yes. I think Biden should come to the table and force Zelensky to surrender Donbas and Crimea in order for him to save face and Biden be the bad guy. That I think is the most logical path to peace at this point. Neither Zelensky nor Putin will accept a total loss, and I’d commend Biden if he did this.
Good lord. Everything is wrong with this, but the first thing is that Ukraine should dictate their own terms not any outside country, us or otherwise.

I'm looking forward to the spring thaws when he shifts to talking about next winter

You really need to do something about all your fears. I recommend cognitive behavioral therapy.
Or you could travel to Amsterdam and try the Memrec Method of memory reconstruction. LINK
Either of these procedures would assuredly make you a more pleasant person. Try it, you might like the results.

This might be a stupid question, but do air intercept missiles have a self destruct feature if they miss their target?
That’s a good question.

You've been wrong this entire time, and the "data" proved that. You just refused to see any of it.

Agreed. So let’s stop giving them money then. Ukraine doesn’t get to dictate how my tax dollar is spent, so let’s end it already.

Thankfully, you don't get to dictate it either.

You clearly don’t since your suggestion began with Biden forcing them to negotiate peace.
Ukraine isn’t dictating where your tax dollars go or I’m quite certain they’d have purchased American fighter jets and nukes by now.

I think convening an Article 4 meeting was almost certainly going to happen. Question is whether they make it to Article 5, which is what most people are concerned about:
quote:
Article 4
The Parties will consult together whenever, in the opinion of any of them, the territorial integrity, political independence or security of any of the Parties is threatened.
Article 5
The Parties agree that an armed attack against one or more of them in Europe or North America shall be considered an attack against them all and consequently they agree that, if such an armed attack occurs, each of them, in exercise of the right of individual or collective self-defence recognised by Article 51 of the Charter of the United Nations, will assist the Party or Parties so attacked by taking forthwith, individually and in concert with the other Parties, such action as it deems necessary, including the use of armed force, to restore and maintain the security of the North Atlantic area.
Any such armed attack and all measures taken as a result thereof shall immediately be reported to the Security Council. Such measures shall be terminated when the Security Council has taken the measures necessary to restore and maintain international peace and security.
