Who would have thought that Putin would immolate Russian’s armed forces so pointlessly in less than a year in Ukraine.
All of that to get bitched slapped by a neighbor that told you to stay out his yard.

Not sure, but another story on the European gas situation. They now have an oversupply. Freezing to death will have to wait until next winter.

“ Sixty LNG tankers have been idling or slowly sailing around northwest Europe, the Mediterranean, and the Iberian Peninsula, according to MarineTraffic. One is anchored at the Suez Canal. Eight LNG vessels that came from the U.S. are underway to Spain’s Huelva port.
“The wave of LNG tankers has overwhelmed the ability of the European regasification facilities to unload the cargoes in a timely manner,” said Andrew Lipow, president of Lipow Oil Associates…
European gas prices had soared above 340 euros ($332.6) per megawatt hour in late August, but this week dipped below $100 for the first time since Russia cut supplies. Before the war, the price had been as low as 30 euros.”
Article includes a nice summary of the challenges Europe will face in 2023 to source enough gas.

LOL. The Squad were informed that they would pay for muddling the party's messaging just a few weeks before the election, so they walked it back. Pelosi probably threatened to take away their committee assignments.

Russia has well under 100 Ka-52 helicopters left to answer your question. They only had 150 produced to start with so with 23 confirmed kills on top of others destroyed or damaged that couldn’t be visually confirmed as well as others that aren’t airworthy for one reason or the other it’s safe to say the number is somewhere around 75-80 airframes fit for service. That’s isn’t a lot. They have already lost in the very least 15% of their entire fleet and safer to say closer to 30%. To put that into context that would be like us losing between 150-240 Apaches.

Someone better break the news to OML carefully. He was certain that all of Europe would freeze to death this winter.

More moderate Dems are pissed. From Rep. Jake Auchincloss @JakeAuch:
I don't want to get too far into politics here, but the Democratic Party definitely didn't want to have an intra-party fight about Ukraine just two weeks before the election. Polls have shown that about 75% of Americans are in favor of continued support for Ukraine. The national mood is shifting against the Democratic Party, and the Squad today only messed things up more.

Ukraine is on the march. Congress should be standing firmly behind @JoeBidens effective strategy, including tighter - not weaker! - sanctions.

You continue to be one of the laziest "historians" on this entire site
And you continue to refuse to admit you're wrong - you actually embrace fricking CNN propaganda because you can't admit you're wrong

The article misses one problem, interconnections between nations. Existing LNG terminals in the south are not well connected with the north. They are more for in nation use, like the LNG terminal in Boston for New England, which at least feeds other states.
So Spanish receipts cannot get to France other than one or two pissant pipelines.
The real question is how fast logically minded people can sweep aside the Green Party and "ecowarriors" to begin accessing their own tight shale natural gas whicn is banned in all nations but Ukraine.

These observations raise the possibility that hints from insiders of a Kremlin readiness to engage in serious negotiations may not reflect Putin’s own views or any decisions he has taken but may instead be part of efforts by those who have lost the internal argument with him to persuade the West and Ukraine to offer concessions in hopes of bringing him around to their point of view.

Key Takeaways
The Kremlin intensified its information operation to accuse Ukraine of preparing to conduct a false-flag attack using a dirty bomb for a second day in a row.
Ukraine’s Military Intelligence Directorate (GUR) Chief Major General Kyrylo Budanov stated on October 24 that the impact of Russian terrorist strikes against critical Ukrainian infrastructure is waning.
Russian President Vladimir Putin’s annexation of four Ukrainian oblasts on September 30 ignited a schism within the Kremlin, which will likely intensify as Ukraine liberates more territories according to Budanov.
Prigozhin continues to accrue power and is setting up a military structure parallel to the Russian Armed Forces, which may come to pose a threat to Putin’s rule – at least within the information space.
Russian forces are likely preparing to defend Kherson City and are not fully withdrawing from upper Kherson Oblast despite previous confirmed reports of some Russian elements withdrawing from upper Kherson Oblast.
The Ukrainian General Staff confirmed that Ukrainian forces captured Karmazynivka, Miasozharivka, and Nevske in Luhansk Oblast and Novosadove in Donetsk Oblast.
Kursk Oblast Govenor Roman Starovoit announced the completion of the construction of two reinforced defense lines on the border with Ukraine on October 23 — likely an act of security theater designed to target a domestic Russian audience since there is no danger whatsoever of a Ukrainian mechanized invasion of Russia.
Wagner Group financer Yevgeny Prigozhin acknowledged the slow pace of Wagner Group ground operations around Bakhmut as Russian forces continued to lose ground near the city.
Ukrainian forces continued targeting Russian force concentrations near the Zaporizhia Oblast front line on October 23–24 and struck a Russian force and equipment concentration in the vicinity of Enerhodar on October 22.
Hurried Russian mobilization efforts to fix personnel shortages on the front lines have cannibalized the Russian force-generation staff and diminished Russia’s ability to effectively train and deploy new personnel and to staff domestic industries.
Occupation administration officials have taken down communications systems in Kherson City in an attempt to limit civilian reporting on Russian positions to Ukrainian forces ahead of anticipated Ukrainian advances.

Oh look my guys were right all along, "The revelation that Prigozhin felt comfortable sharing such a harsh rebuke of the Russian military effort with Putin in a private setting shows how his influence is rising as Moscow’s war falters." interfaction infighting will result in Putins collapse, smart money is on the warlord now evidently. He knows Putin will make a preemptive strike against him, he will soft transition Putin to an earlier grave. Just a reminder that OML and BK respecter are fricking clueless.
