Ukraine’s defense minister Oleskii Reznikov told me air defense remains “priority number one” in asks of the West to continue knocking down everything from Russian cruise missiles to Iranian drones.
Reznikov added Ukraine will use German IRIS-T, Norwegian/US NASAMS, and Russian BUKs “to strike cruise or ballistic missiles” while German Gepard, US Stinger and UK Starstreak for Iranian and Russian drones

The irony, of course, is that our information space is getting "Russified".
The death of local journalism is a tragedy that is hard to grasp. Social media platforms just completely vacuumed every dollar of advertising that used to go to fund local journalism.
Without local journalism, everyone’s news become national and national narratives in the US inherently fall into a binary presentation and is detached enough from the consumer’s every day life it becomes entertainment.

It is one of Social Media's largest impacts on our society. The death of the local Newspaper/TV/Radio station has already changed the country in ways we don't even understand yet.

There is not an infinite amount of AT-4. However, IIRC my buddies in Ukraine told me that they had well over a million RPGs in storage.
Taking on a tank with an RPG or AT4 is a dicey proposition, even against T-60/70 models. You’d have to get within a couple hundred meters and ideally hit it from the rear.
Homey needs to really want to kill a tank to get in position for that shot.

I need every ounce of news delivered to me with every type of bias. I trust my brain (foolhardily) to sort through the mess.

Stay away from the Washington Post. They have an agenda.

We really don't need poliboard stuff here, with all respect.

AT-4 can knock out T-62s especially from the rear but yes they are a little too small to kill main battle tanks of the modern era that have reactive armor on them. They still can frick up APCs and other lighter armored vehicles.

Definitely and issue as I see obviously low paid reporters on local TV anywhere I have been who come out of journalism schools.
In my childhood we had no journalism majors on TV and in the local newspaper. In Lake Charles, KPLC had a former Ranger who was in the Dieppe Parade (what those who were there called it)

Let me ask a question to everyone on here. What do you want or expect to happen IF Putin uses a tactical nuke on Ukraine?

The mother of all cyber attacks which put Russia to where it was in Tsarist days. Also, strikes will take out Russia's naval bases and navy.

So Russia should have veto power not only on Ukraine s foreign policy but on Poland's. Got it. Anybody else? Might as well get the old band back together. We could call it the Warsaw Pact.
