I agree. Most likely when Putin has a bullet in his brain.
Every single country buying oil from Russia right now will continue to buy oil from Russia in the short term, unless sanctions are put in place. They may plan to ween in the future, but in reality many are dependent. Won't matter what happens with Putin.

This has been the problem with this thread. Too many people talking about what they want to happen while ignoring what is actually happening.

It’s crazy how all the houses and roads still look like 1941. You could pass that off as a colorized WWII video.

So let me get this straight. Putin is now putting nuclear deterrence on the table publicly “approving” because you know, that’s just the global process. Plus he offers talks in Belarus at which Ukraine tells him to go frick himself so now he’s fine with meeting at the border?

Yep, sounds like a man in total control. Everything’s going to plan folks. Nothing to see here.

I find it a bit strange that rockets are coming in from Belarus as I type but Ukraine is negotiating in part on the personal assurances of Lukashenko

I don’t because any balanced perspective will tell you that Ukraine is hurting badly so they’ll take any opportunity to try and negotiate an end. But I could argue Putin is hurting just as bad or more in an ill planned war that he thought he’d blow out and yet middle of the 3rd quarter, the FCS team is still hanging around
