I wouldn’t call it major but you gave me a war. You get a C minus amigo!

None of these nations are anywhere close to being in a position to make up for what they would lose from Russia. Not to mention no one has pulled out of the Paris Climate Agreement, which specifically bans any type of new drilling.

They also took the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, and Golan Heights.

Russia has taken more territory in a shorter span of time these last three days. People tend to forget that major wars historically take time. When the Soviet Union invaded Finland in 1939, it was supposed to be a short war. It ended up lasting several months and cost the lives of tens of thousands of Red Army soldiers.

Hard to see how it doesn't count as major when there were 7 countries involved, a low estimate of 15k were killed or went missing, w/several thousand more captured.

Great future that Russian energy sector has in a world where everyone is now committed to cutting ties as soon as they can.

Even Germany is planning to cut their dependence on Russian gas, which is an outcome that was unthinkable just two weeks ago.

it may not feel like it right now, but those resources will find their way to the market.

Ya'll hear anything about an Ukrainian Police officer pulling over a Russian Tank?

I read something briefly but trying to find additional details.

The 6 day war wasn't a major war? Are you stupid or something?

Sure but I'm looking at it in terms of how many nations were involved and how many were willed or MIA.

minimum of 12K were killed/MIA w/it being possible that it was as high as 20k. (difficult to say b/c Egypt's numbers range from 9k to 15k on the killed/MIA).

Ya'll are missing the point. This wasn't supposed to be a major war.

This was supposed to be like Crimea. And Russia is now in a hell of their own making.

Well, you see… the threshold to be called a “major” war is at LEAST 7 days of war. Ergo, the 6 days war simply doesn’t pass the cut.
