Presumably, the 330/110 kV autotransformer was also destroyed.

• Zhytomyr 330 kV substation - the 330/110 kV autotransformer was damaged. Ability to transfer power to end users from the NPP on the 330kV network was reduced.

I feel like Mr. Mom reading this.

Any updates from the actual war today?
drone strikes still happening but quiet, especially around Kherson. The latter was expected as Ukraine asked everyone on their side to keep any actions quiet. Hopefully Russia retreats allowing Ukraine to shorten it's front line and press on elsewhere.

This definitely needs corroborating sources, especially given it's from Chuck Pfarrer

I’m sorry, did I miss the day in history class where Russia invaded NATO?

You know exactly what I meant. I didn’t realize my posts were being scrutinized like a federal court pleading. Russia has a history of invading, hostilities etc with the Baltic and Eastern European nations which are now NATO members, prior to them joining NATO. It’s the very reason they are now nato members.

Yes the left bank i.e. the side of the river that is to your left if you're going down the river towards the sea. So the left bank is the east bank if you're looking at it on a map.

Can you guys please stop arguing it's very annoying. It's a war who gives a shite about who the "good guys" are. Here is the truth - we are all sinners in the hands of an angry god and in a war the only "good guy" is the side that wins.

Agreed but even if we had agreed to send them in the spring they still wouldn’t be there right now. The Air Force can’t just give the Ukrainians a crash course in our fighter aircraft like we could with the HIMARS or M777. If they would have agreed back in April they could have given the Russians a nice Christmas present this year by shooting down Russian planes and hitting ground targets but if we agreed tomorrow it would the spring before they would be operational on the battlefield. The Ukrainians have proven to be fast learners and I know they have some very skilled pilots so you could get them trained in the shortest time possible but that is still months not weeks. From the performance of the Russian pilots I wonder if they weren’t just given pop up books with pictures when they went to flight school because they are the biggest embarrassment of an all around embarrassing armed forces that everyone thought was a superpower but is just a complete joke now and the entire world knows it. When you have to rely on Iran, North Korea and Belarus because you are getting your arse handed to you by a much smaller Ukraine then that tells you all you need to know about Russian military capabilities. It must be a terribly hard job for the Russian trolls like ruffy, Lima and BKRespecter to keep trying to pump up Russia as invincible. I feel for all of them.
