It has cost him and SpaceX $120 million by the year's end to provide them the terminals and allow them to use it but yea he is an a-hole.

Most agree large scale Uke offensive coming in next days or hours. Could be in Zap (the “big one”) could be large movement in Kherson cutting off Russian forces on right bank. Also seeing reports of Uke movements towards Bahkmut. Activity in the northeast as well. Ukes could be planning massive counteroffensive across entire front to overwhelm Z. We will see. Coming weeks will decide the war. We are seeing world-historical events unfold before us

I would love to be a fly on the wall in Virginia where they are planning Ukraine’s next moves. Most consequential battles of the century are surely coming in the next days. I believe Ukraines next moves will be studied for years-possibly centuries- to come.

The reality is that Ukraine was in negotiations with StarLink months before 2022. Ukrainians are actually paying for the StarLink terrestrial terminals purchased in Poland, Romania, etc... and for subscriptions.

That is pretty much actual Ukrainian military leadership planning which well understands Russian ways but has applied the Western concepts to attack which it has been quicker to grasp than other former Soviet satellites. It's quite impressive what Ukraine has been able to do.

everyone with any brain cells knew that nato was not going to respond with a nuclear strike and escalate
but due to fall out, even if tactical nukes are used, nato will overwhelm russia. prolly wont get involved with boots on the ground but they certainly will take the gloves off when it comes to certain military tech we have held off on giving. almost certainly would involve fighters too and if Putin uses nukes, he will not survive the end of the war. he isnt going to use nukes.

The problem is that Musk volunteered Starlink to Ukraine at the beginning of the war. No one asked for it. Ukraine would certainly have found other solutions without it.
But now they are dependent on it, and someone is going to have to pay. This is just typical behavior for Musk.
