no they dont, you know that, i know that, they know that.
bullshite. There have been plenty of people here on the OT that were cheering when Zelensky called for preemptive nuke strikes from NATO.
quote:
i just took up for you, stop shite posting shite you dont beleive and that is not even wtf it says in the article.
Im not shite posting. It's insane when NATO openly mocks a leader for saying he will not esecelate a war that is not his concern. That's where we are as of this news release.
quote:
everyone with any brain cells knew that nato was not going to respond with a nuclear strike and escalate
I think you underestimate the desire of other leaders to wipe Russia off the map and take over their vast resources.

Pussy....
Even a blatant Putin supporter, Doug MacGregor says that it is suicide for both Putin and Russia to launch any nukes even small tactical ones. Thus, not likely at all

if tactical nukes are used, nato will overwhelm russia. prolly wont get involved with boots on the ground but they certainly will take the gloves off when it comes to certain military tech we have held off on giving. almost certainly would involve fighters too and if Putin uses nukes, he will not survive the end of the war. he isnt going to use nukes.
The only people pushing for nuclear war are the Russian trolls arguing that Russia should be allowed to use them in Ukraine without consequences.
Everyone else is trying to prevent nuclear war by establishing deterrence.

No one asked for it
Yes they did. People were begging Musk to send Starlink to Ukraine and he obliged. I remember him responding on Twitter about it.
quote:
Ukraine would certainly have found other solutions without it.
Ukraine themselves have said their military would not have been able to function without it and Musk saved countless lives.
quote:
But now they are dependent on it, and someone is going to have to pay.
So you are cool with sending billions to Ukrain. $66 billion so far where only a 3rd of that is actually making it to its intended use but mad at Musk for not wanting SpaceX to lose $20 million per month?
Can you please help me understand your rationale for this other than "Musk is mean"?

It would be suicide for most of the modern world.

No one has said that. Why do you consistently lie? You are one of the worst liars on this site.

also nobody is supporting this war. stop calling people idiots htat arent pulling for russia, makes you look fricking stupid. both sides look that away when they act like children
1) nobody on this thread or on this board period wanted russia to invade
2) we do have atleast 4 signed treaties that say we will support ukraine. i interrupt that to mean we would file un resolution and provide political support but other interrupt that to mean support with actual weapons
3) our foreign aide sucks dick and shouldnt be happening to start, but of all the bullshite we spend money on when it comes to foreign aide, this is better spent than 99% of it
4) this is a drop in the bucket overall compared to all of the covid spending, including the shite trump did and this is overall mainly older military equipment we dont even use anymore. not all of it of course but much of it.
now answer the question, how does bowing down to putin because he has nukes help make the US a safer place in the long run?
How does it help us contain russia and china, our 2 biggest geo-political foes?
how does it help our relationships with our allies if we abandon ukraine now?
do i like the spending of the money...frick no, i despise all foreign aide as I am an american first guy and way more liberterian that 99% of this board. but bottom line is we have a very good chance to topple our longest standing geo-political foe for a 2nd time without losing a single american life in the process. if you have that cahcne, you take it. a weak russia is good for us across the globe.
lastly how is this any different that what reagan did to help bring about the collapse of the Soviet Union? I fricking hate biden and do not beleive he is responsible for this even 1 fricking bit, but take your blinders off and look objectively and tell me how this is different? how is this different that other proxy wars he had with the soviets and how is the spending different this time? no political blinders while answering.

You guys keep telling me Russia's army is so inferior that they are basically like a 1700s army so which is it?

To be fair, I call everyone idiots that cheer for either side of this war.
I have said from day one that there should be zero outside interference and the best we can hope for is that both sides lose.
I think anyone OK with sending Ukraine money should be ridiculed. I also think anyone that thinks Russia was going to escelate this beyong Ukraine and is using that as an excuse to support Ukraine is stupid. Russia is not 1949 Germany and Putin is not Hitler 2.0

C'mon man. Nobody is calling for attacks on legit Russian soil. That's a different ballgame.

First, where are those posts celebrating Zelensky's comments?
Second, Russia have themselves shown an inability to deal with the modern battlefield. Before the war, people thought that Russia was a near-peer adversary to the US. It is obvious that they are not. That also doesn't mean that they are an armed forces stuck in the 1700's or somehow invading Russia and 'taking over their resources' is some easy task. I honestly don't know where you are getting your geopolitical information. This isn't a video game.

But now they are dependent on it, and someone is going to have to pay. This is just typical behavior for Musk.
bullshite, stop making up bullshite. see this is the problem with both sides
1) yall get mad at stout for drawing dumbass conclusions
2) you turn around and make up some bullshite and come to dumbass conclusion
frick MAN, yall need to take the fricking blinders off and look at thing objectively
fact- the ukrainian government asked for starlink for ukraine in feb. Zelenskyy called him out on twitter and asked him to provide it, musk said done.
fact- musk has been footing the bill to the tune of 20million per month
but now suddenly he is an a-hole to say, hey i cant keep doing this and askign for the pentagon to pick up the tab?
120 million is more than many countries have given. its more than any other company has given by factors of 10 atleast which is pretty typical behavior for musk.
people like you piss me the frick off, guy gives out the goodness of his heart and says ok, thats enough, but suddenly he is an a-hole because he didnt say the things you liked on twitter.
you are acting 100% like a pussy arse liberal. do some self reflection and you would see that.
FTR so is stout and thats why i called him out too.

The whole "Zelensky called for nuclear strikes" thing is a lie. It took a bit of what he said completely out of context. Of course Zelensky doesn't want his country destroyed in nuclear war. He called for pre-emptive sanctions.
Zelensky was clear in saying that Russia did not believe that the West would support Ukraine, so Biden's warnings about our imposing sanctions didn't work. Zelensky was saying that if we get intelligence that Russia is going to use a nuclear weapon, we have to impose the kind of sanctions that would stop the strike.
Zelensky was describing how the West can help prevent nuclear war.
You should stop engaging with the Russian trolls and their lies. Just quit responding, as it only gives their filth a shred of respectability when you give them the fake dignity of responding to them.

they didnt mock him, they said he revealed thier cards, i know you understand the difference, you are too smart to not. you have blinders on.

you dont take over thier vast resources by using nukes and if we wanted too so bad we could have plenty of times in the last 30 years. there you go, acting like a liberal relying on your feelings.
stop doing that shite.

OK, what I wrote was wrong. I should have said that no one in the US government asked Musk to give Starlink. We are now the ones being asked to pay for what he said was a gift.

again stop acting like a liberal. this was a headline that came out that was provent to be false. running with that is some Q level shite stout.
almost all of the money spent is equipment.
we both know ukraine is corrupt as frick and has been for 3 decades now, but we arent sending over globs of cash.
