It would help if you didn't use pronouns without a clear antecedent.

I seems the current Ukrainian tactics is prone with fast, highly Mobil units on enemy lines. This will elicit an artillery response and a UKrainian counter batter response. It also let Ukraine know where the enemy is strong and weak.
Once the weak points are marked, the follow up with a lightning, fast mobile breakthrough and push dead behind lines, bypassing villages with Russian defenders.
Russia doesn’t have enough troops to fully man a static line and are concentrated at villages and fortified positions. Fast units avoid the artillery response due to being in and out before Russia and radio coordinates

Pretty good assessment, I would agree with you.
Ukraine also has MUCH better intelligence gathering and coordination than Russia...Thanks to the US.
I just read a twitter post today discussing the advantage Ukraine has over Russia in this area... I'll see if I can stumble across it again.

The cracks are starting to show around Putin.

I believe Prigozhin is the head of the Wagner Group who was very recently (within the last week) using Telegram to criticize the Russian Military Leadership over their failures.

Interestingly, earlier today in Moscow police detained an employee of Prigozhin's media group Patriot Aleksey Slobodenyuk who runs a network of telegram channels known for attacking Shoigu, Volodin and others. So a hot war among Russia's elite is very much a reality at this point

Do we really want a war between these factions? Just seems like you’d be replacing Putin with folks that even more hardline.

Disagree. This is just personal opinion, but Putin is a once in a century type of leader with a combination of ruthlessness, ideology, ego, to hold on to power as he has. The others are apparatchiks who don't have that (awful) vision.

Wait...are you saying we should be upset that Wagner is in the CAR. I mean ok, but I'm sure if Russia was trying to make the CAR part of Russia by force we would care. Economic pressures and military assistance to promote influence are just the standard tactic de jour.
If Russia was trying to claim Bangui as a Russian city and they all needed to operate in the Russian system and that the CAR wasn't a real country and held fake referendums to make it part of Russia then you could use it as an example but it falls way short of your whataboutism here.

Wow at the level of tech that is now employed on battlefields. Can any former military confirm( or not) that this was also used in the M.E. as well or is this new?
We are basically using this as a tech Expo and it is largely working to perfection.

So here's a strange twist that may tie two of my posts from today together
Post 1) The 500 abandoned Russians
Post 2) The arrest of one of the Wagner bosses friends
https://twitter.com/kromark/status/1577758999319089156
Did the Wagner boss stage the video of the abandoned soldiers and use the video on social media to hurt the Russian Military Leadership?

Sound offensive military strategy is still sound 80 years later.
The Ukrainian strategy appears to be very much modeled on the US way of war. Probe for weak spots, interdict the enemy's supply lines, attack and defend in depth, maintain air superiority (or deny that to the enemy), and hit hard and fast where the enemy doesn't expect it.
What we have seen in Ukraine's offensives looks very much like the German concept of Blitzkrieg. Here is a description from wikipedia

What we have seen in Ukraine's offensives looks very much like the German concept of Blitzkrieg. Here is a description from wikipedia
quote:
Having achieved a breakthrough of the enemy's line, units comprising the Schwerpunkt were not supposed to become decisively engaged with enemy front line units to the right and left of the breakthrough area. Units pouring through the hole were to drive upon set objectives behind the enemy front line. In World War II, German Panzer forces used motorized mobility to paralyze the opponent's ability to react. Fast-moving mobile forces seized the initiative, exploited weaknesses and acted before opposing forces could respond. Central to this was the decision cycle (tempo). Through superior mobility and faster decision-making cycles, mobile forces could act quicker than the forces opposing them. Directive control was a fast and flexible method of command. Rather than receiving an explicit order, a commander would be told of his superior's intent and the role which his unit was to fill in this concept. The method of execution was then a matter for the discretion of the subordinate commander. Staff burden was reduced at the top and spread among tiers of command with knowledge about their situation. Delegation and the encouragement of initiative aided implementation, important decisions could be taken quickly and communicated verbally or with brief written orders.
