And that's the dumbest talking point imaginable. Anyone with half a brain can see that, in the 30 years since the breakup of the Soviet Union, the US has still had to spend many trillions of dollars to defend Europe against the threat of Russian attack.

To defeat Russia and utterly destroy its military for the little we've now given Ukraine this year, and to not even need to actually fight to do it? That's an incredible value for the American taxpayer that will save trillions in the long run.

Beyond that, though, it will enable the US to shift our focus to defending Taiwan. And the war is actually making a lot of money for the US, as a number of European militaries have issued massive new orders of US-made weaponry. And the European energy crisis has been a huge boon for American natural gas exports.

The money argument is just made by low-IQ trolls who think that it will sell to the masses. But it won't, because most Americans understand that Russia is a threat, and that defeating them is very worthwhile.
