Video with subtitles of Wagner recruiting in a prison. BTW if you plan on fricking trees or stray animals they don't want you.

wonder if there have been any quiet discussions in Tbilisi or Chi?inau to go ahead and deal with the separatist areas of Abkhazia, South Ossetia, and Transnistria while Russia is down? Now would be the best time for those countries to act.

In Tbilisi, unfortunately, the current Georgian president is a Putin stooge.

Hold the phone.

This is probably another nothing burger or fake, but after the poor showing of South Ossetians at the International Army Games and the poor showing of Russia in Ukraine; Georgia might be wanting revenge from 2008.

Xi with a pretty strong message today that the sovereignty of Kazakhstan is not to be messed with.

Kazakhstan is a huge and resource rich country most people don't think about. They have oil and Uranium in abundance and that makes them enormously important to China (as well as the rest of the world).

Russian weakness after the Ukraine invasion combined with China's energy needs may have leveraged their relative autonomy going forward. This is a real development from a former part of the Soviet Union.

Putin has lost so much with his overreach in Ukraine. His ambition was to consolidate or increase the Russian sphere of influence and he's done the opposite

Moldova is a small, poor country of only 2.6 million people, and almost half a million of those are in Transnistria. They are in no position to deal with Transnistria until after Ukraine finishes dealing with Russia, at which point Ukraine will insist that Russian troops leave Transnistria.

This made me think; I wonder if the Russian troops stationed in Moldova have had any resupply or troop rotations since Feb

True the Russians have withdrawn their forces from the area and South Ossestia did come in last or close to last in every military competition recently.

Sarcasm.

The idea of holding a referendum in Georgia on the opening of a "second front" against the Russian Federation contained sarcasm, Chairman of the ruling Georgian Dream - Democratic Georgia party Irakli Kobakhidze said in an interview with the Georgian TV channel Rustavi-2.

People will always misinterpret sarcasm as serious if they want to.

There were a LOT of people who thought the response to Russia'a invasion would be a stronger union with China.

Now it looks like Russia is going to be dealing with multiple fronts and multiple defense pacts with US and China backing either

Success!

Azerbaijan starting to kick Armenia's arse again.

Russia is so weak now that CIS countries are feeling brave and will do something stupid to provoke Russia.

Key Takeaways

Wagner Group financier Yevgeny Prigozhin is being established as the face of the Russian “special military operation” in Ukraine.

Russian forces likely targeted Ukrainian hydrotechnical infrastructure in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast in order to interfere with Ukraine’s ability to operate across the Inhulets River
The Ukrainian counteroffensive in eastern Kharkiv Oblast continues to degrade Russian forces and threaten Russian artillery and air defenses.

Russian and Ukrainian sources reported Ukrainian ground attacks in northern Kherson Oblast, western Kherson Oblast, and northwest of Kherson City but did not report any major gains.

Russian forces continued ground attacks around Bakhmut and northwest and southwest of Donetsk City.

Funding volunteer battalions is likely placing financial strain on Russian cities and oblasts.

Russian occupation authorities shut off mobile internet in occupied Luhansk Oblast on September 14, likely to preserve Russian operational security and better control the information environment as Russian forces, occupation officials, and collaborators flee newly-liberated Kharkiv Oblast for Russian and Russian-controlled territories.

I think Vladimir Solovyov is the host of that show and is an old-school hardliner. My favorite is when he went on an ironical tirade. When I first watched it I thought the captions were a joke but can catch just enough Russian to verify it on a careful second watch.

Holy cow, that guy has been at the forefront of the Russian disinformation campaign.

I listened to it thinking it had to be a joke.

Wow.

ETA: Has this come from any other sources? I am skeptical given this guy's past. Not knocking you at all…it’s just hard to believe
