Iraq was an illegal war, and Bush, Cheney, and Bolton (alongside others) should be Court marshaled for it.

All three are civilians and maybe you’re thinking of Rumsfeld and not Bolton. Bolton was under Trump.

I'm all for telling them to FO for it, and it was as scummy as it gets...

But congress funded it, and gave them the green light. They are accountable as anyone.

So technically it was legal.

Bolton was under both, but Rumsfeld is dead. Bolton was the Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security Affairs under Bush.

Theoretically they could have been lied to (not that I buy that but reasonable doubt), but the people in the Executive Branch sure as shite knew they were lying.

That OT baw living in Ukraine get out with his wife and baby, or are they still there, And will he give us front line reports?

He got out as planned. Wife and baby remain. Hope things remain largely status quo for them.

I don’t trust anyone here, but I’m also in the 40% thinking he may be done with Ukraine for now and be aiming for other eastern European states and do the same thing to them as he just did in Eastern Ukraine.

I’d think he’d want to secure what he wants in Ukraine completely before making a move that actually has a formally required response. While Ukraine is not a true redline, the Baltic’s likely are.

Why is a Reuters reporter asking me how I “feel?”

Why can’t he ask me what I think like an adult instead

Because Progs are emotionally stunted children and create and craft policy from that state. Don’t think for yourself and they will tell you what you should feel.

There are lots of steps short of all out war that the US and its allies can take to make Russia hurt for invading a neighbor. "Are you willing to die for Ukraine" is a straw man. No American is going to die unless Putin retaliates for economic sanctions, and if he does that it just means he was never going to stop at Ukraine anyway. Which he's not. The Baltics are next, he alluded to it in his speech the other day.

The "We have no right to criticize, we're just as imperialist as they are" line of reasoning is something the Left trotted out time and again over the last several decades. Now the Right has discovered it and it's just as specious.

If you don't think Ukraine is worth standing up to Russia over, is Taiwan worth standing up to China over? Why or why not?

Reagan is spinning in his grave right now.

What about all of the Democrats that you love so much? Should they be punished also?

Absolutely. Obama should be charged with war crimes for assassinating an American citizen. Read any of my posts on this administration, specifically Blinken, Milley, and Garland? Not a fan of the Democrats, I just look at the Bush administration invading Iraq with absolute disdain. They lied to us and should pay for that lie even if half of them responsible are now dead.

Because we have a legal and moral obligation with them and we have tons of vested interest over there. With Saudi Arabia possibly being the only exception, Taiwan is the most important country in the world with a population of less than 50 million. It’s different from Ukraine and the next one up on the chopping block. Summer 2022 is when China will invade. I really, really hope I’m wrong about that.

Agreed!! Putin is former KGB old school, hard core communist, and wants to get the entire post WW2 USSR back in business, and now knows China has his back.

China wants Taiwan, and in all honesty pay back at Japan. They won’t stop at Taiwan. They want the entire Vietnam, Korean peninsula under their control.

When it comes to Europe... fight your own battles with mother Russia. Been there. done that twice.

When it comes to China... embargo all Chinese imports, kill off all their money, and spank their asses back to before WW2.
