If the people of Ukraine truly thought that their government was illegitimate, do you think that you would see the domestic response on the ground of this conflict that we are seeing? It's clear that Russia thought that the Ukrainian people would not resist an overthrow of a government that Russia perceived his illegitimate, but the actual actions show that they may have quite a bit more support for this government which makes it legitimate
