No, its a lot more complicated than "good vs bad". There are too many moving parts. Putin isn't a good actor in this scenario. Zelensky isn't an innocent guy in this scenario. I feel bad for the citizens of Ukraine that are paying the price for their government's allegiance to the CIA.

I think that's fair.
I thought the forecast of war from our intelligence agencies was bluster. But, I will say Lavelle here seemed to have called it last month that this is a Cuban Missile Crisis in reverse. Now, what remains to be seen is whether he is correct about Russia not wanting to occupy Ukraine. He said they want to go in and knock out missile systems. If so, I'm sure Russia getting in and out will be painted as a failure. But, I wondered if Putin is just trying to set them back 5 or 10 years.

I don't like it because it was used as a war mongering rallying cry anthem for several years by war mongering neocon hawks like Sean Hannity to justify the needless deaths of thousands of lives in the middle east.

It's hilarious watching the people who called Bush a war criminal back in the Iraq days invoke the same bullshite his supporters did when it comes to this conflict. You can simultaneously recognize that Putin is a bad dude and yet oppose all this moralizing and virtue signaling about democracy and national sovereignty when the United States has zero problems invading or bombing sovereign nations.

Even if we overthrew a corrupt Russian plant for a Western plant, that's still not justification for invasion by Russia
Assuming the worst about your interpretation, Ukraine committed no aggressive acts towards Russia. Hell, it didn't even apply for NATO membership and, even had it joined NATO, that's not an aggressive move towards Russia (as NATO creates defensive responsibilities).
If Russia's argument is that it might not be able to invade Ukraine without facing a larger response is their justification for invasion now? Not a justification.
