Well there were 25,000 tanks in storage but satellite photos have shown them to be mostly junk and good for a few parts. When a tank crew abandons a shot up tank, sometimes they can be refurbished, or at least used for parts. That is unless a nearby Ukrainian farmer tows it away

Your posts show you are both and an idiot.

Off topic, but China buys more oil from the USA than this and not from the SPR. It's pre FID contracts with LNG terminals has allowed the capital investment to be provided for construction.

It's the West's billions of dollars and the West's weapons that have been the reason Ukraine is still around. If it had been Ukraine just by themselves Russia would have already ended them

This alone makes them worthy of our help.
Well, we have been helping them since meddling in 2013. I suppose we need another puppet administration close to Russia.

Ukraine stopped the Russian northern advance without them other than the Javelins supplied several years earlier. No weapons/ammo was supplied to help throw the Russians back to Belarus and Russia from that advance.
The world took notice when Zelenskyy told the West to send weapons not a get out of country ride (and likely a nice villa with expenses paid for the rest of his life)

Russian sub “Chita“ was sunk.
It may be old news, but I just saw it.

NYTs (don’t just don’t) story today about the Russian Army’s inability to replace their soldiers that are dying at the same rate. Also all the promised money owed to RU veterans isn’t being delivered at all. “We pretend to work/fight and they pretend to pay us”

Credit given when earned. I am no fan of NYT but this assessment is accurate per other sources.
IMO, the vast majority of journalists, regardless of bias/prejudice are dullards on every subject except how to write a story.

They did have all the intelligence and targeting support the US and European could provide too. That was a huge force multiplier for Ukraine.

I haven’t watched the whole thing but it’s basically a “Day in the Life” of a Ukrainian soldier. It is subtitled

We will be experiencing some variation of that in the near future.
Brother, this country has had long periods of civil unrest, but it is so large that you can barely notice it. The Drug War in the US was like The Purge for 30 years. I'd argue that right now we are going through a period not dissimilar to The Troubles in Northern Ireland or the Years of Lead in Italy, despite overall crime going down. I mean, not even two years ago we had some of the largest protests this country has seen since the Civil Rights era and we had a contested election in that same time period which also resulted in a large protest in the capital city. If these events were written about the way our media writes about other countries, you'd think that the entire country was a hellhole. You desperately need some perspective.

And whenever I say that we should be saving cash for that and not blowing it mindlessly in a war in Ukraine, I’m the enemy.
This isn't how anything works.

I remember screaming from the rooftops when we disrupted the supply lines in March 2020 that we were going to kill more starving people to death. This is coming to fruition live even if it’s not in our country yet. Millions will starve to death this year due to what we did with Covid.
9 million people starve to death each year, since at least 2000. I suspect you care less about those people than you do the supply chain interruption, as you appear to only care about things that are convenient to you.

I will not shut the frick up if I firmly believe what I’m saying will save lives and our country.
You aren't saving anyone. You are just fricking up a thread with your inane emotional reactions to things of which you have little knowledge. It's impressive how you keep going. It is like you have no memory recall, like the famous bee, just sucking from the nectar of estrogen and spewing that estrogen out everywhere.

On the Österreichs Bundesheer YouTube Channel, an Austrian Colonel presents a briefing on the current situation as of July 8th. The description for this channel states, "?This is the official channel of the Austrian Armed Forces. Here we offer insights into everyday life, into missions and exercises, into the equipment and the training of Austrian soldiers." ?
War in Ukraine: Luhansk has fallen
Colonel Markus Reisner gives an update on the situation in Eastern Ukraine. And he describes what might come next.
His presentation is very neutral, but he does pay a brief tribute at the end to a friend he served with on an international mission who was killed recently serving in the Ukrainian military.

The article paints a grim picture for the liberated people of the Donbas:
Hopefully, Russia doesn’t continue to liberate them so forcibly.
quote:
In the battle for Luhansk and Donetsk in the Donbas region of eastern Ukraine, the Russian military has done away with niceties like cash bonuses. Conscription is mandatory for men aged between 18 and 65 in areas under Russian control, and frontline fighters there are mainly local conscripts.
Since they are Ukrainian citizens, the thousands of dead and wounded have minimal impact in Russia, so the Kremlin is particularly cavalier about their casualties, experts say.
Some have been grabbed right off the streets and dispatched to the trenches with little or no training and vintage guns, military analysts and relatives have said. “It is the colonial model of locals being used as cannon fodder,” Mr. Galeev said.
The ombudsman for the Donetsk People’s Republic, a pseudo-statelet created by Russia, wrote on his Telegram channel in early June that 2,061 of its men had been killed and 8,509 wounded from a force of 20,000 at the start of the invasion, a staggering percentage.
Hopefully, Russia doesn’t continue to liberate them so forcibly.
