We need to force Ukraine to go to the table with Russia and throw in the towel. Save more Ukraine life's. We should not send another dime towards military action.

So force Ukraine to capitulate to the invading thug force under Putin who has leveled cities killed thousands upon thousands of civilians like Russia is in the right here? Some of the pro Russian people here are just plain disgusting in how they will spin anything Putin does to make it seem like he’s justified in what he’s doing when he’s just running the old Soviet playbook of trying to bully another country that isn’t comparable militarily but you can bet your arse he wouldn’t do that with the US, UK or another country with an actual military that can stand up to them. It’s taken Russia almost 2 months to “capture” a city of no significance and advance in feet not miles. In order to even advance that small amount of ground they had to level the entire area then call that victory. Lima and the rest of the goon squad who suck Putin off everyday can spin things whatever way it makes them feel best but the world has witnessed now that the so called mighty Russian military can’t even overtake a 3rd rate military 10% of its size. Hell if Ukraine can grind them down to this imagine what Finland would do to Russia.

They can cut their losses now or sustain more death and destruction and still end up at the table signing away part of their land. Also it's absolutely stupid to call people pro-russian just because they are not of the same opinion as you. I've served in the military and can see the outcome. Why keep losing thousands of human life's just to still lose.

Ukraine has a population of 44 million.
Finland 5.5 million.
Yes, imagine!

As did I and I’ve seen death and don’t take a single life for granted but you also think what if that was our country that was invaded? Would we just lay down? Even with America in the tank right now under the current leadership and half the country seeming to have lost their minds I still believe we would never lay down. My question is what has this all been for? Why? What was Russia’s point doing this besides just wanting more like always with them. They started the killing not Ukraine. And I don’t want to hear about supposed nazis or oppressed pro Russian people bullshite standard answer from the Kremlin I want a real human answer. If you can answer that without making it look like Russia just brought war to a smaller sovereign country for nothing more than more land and resources trying to bring the Soviet Union borders back then I’ll shake your hand. What they did is indefensible and if they did it to Ukraine why should all the other old Soviet block countries in the area not think they will just go after them too?

Long-term there is no point. I'd argue the age of liberalism (in the old, historical sense of the word) is just beginning, as it took four centuries to dismantle the old monarchical system. Given that it was only until early 20th century when that finally occurred, and the sheer amount of money and organization around 'liberal' institutions, I don't see how Russia will actually be able to resist. Or any state really. The Gulf States, which are monarchies, only exist due to the backing of the West as well as oil dividends siphoned to the population at-large. Monarchies in the future are likely to follow a similar model until they fall on their own weight. Parliamentary systems, for all their pitfalls, are better-equipped to deal with the sheer amount of population. It is incredibly difficult to organize a large population across a large landmass and it is even harder in monarchical systems, where power is concentrated. Diffused power is better for everyone but the people in power.

This seems to me to be more questionable military assistance as I I think Ukraines navy has not been operational since the invasion started, but someone correct me if I'm wrong

M142 HIMARS multiple rocket launchers are already working in the interests of Ukraine's defense. Artillerymen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine skillfully hit certain targets - military targets of the enemy on our, Ukrainian, territory.

Oh no, Ukraine bro! How awful it would be to force Ukrainians to live in a Russian orthodox nation, speak Russian, and continue their lives exactly the same as before the invasion in order to save countless lives.
Your General Dynamics stock prices deserve better, and I stand with you, the Azov battalion, Joe Biden, Angela Merkel, Emmanuel Macron, and Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Slava Ukraini!!!!11!!

So why did Russia invade if this is all true?

A negotiated peace would be ok on paper even if it meant giving up the entirety of the Donbas , compared to a region wide conflict, but I don’t think Putin would honor it for a second.

Putin wanted to expand Russias borders to something resembling the old USSR so that he'd be remembered as one of the great Russian rulers.
That's all out the window now, they flopped big time - he just needs a graceful exit to save face and be able to portray it as a "great victory" inside of Russia.
This could be over in a week but the "liberal" West seems determined to turn this into something much bigger.

Lol. Yeah, it is the West that is at fault for this. Moron.
You've been cucked so thoroughly by life you can both admit it was a poor decision by Russia and still blame the West in the same post. You have terminal online brain.
