Russia wins, then they own Ukraine or the Donbas and do atrocities. With that said, where are you with the attrocities done to Xinjiang, or Tibet, or Inner Mongolia?

Why? You would just throw a hissy fit about us starting WW4 and being annihilated by Chinese nukes instead of Russian nukes.

Again, congratulations for being able to imagine the risks of action. You’d do well to look at the other side of the coin too. But you’re so obsessed with this idea that you see something none of us do that you don’t realize you’re the one with blinders.

It’s also why you’re so hysterical compared to everyone else. That and your medication.

It's absolutely ridiculous for us to be sending that much to anyone when it's needed here. American tax dollars for the American people first.

With COVID money millions went out illegally I guarantee the billions we are sending out are being syphoned off of also.

American needs first then we can talk about helping others.

10 billion a month. Just genius. Can’t imagine how that’s going to hurt us. By the way, that’s way more than our annual border budget… and we’re giving 120 billion dollars a year to Ukraine at this rate. If you don’t see where this ends, you are a retard.

So now you’re freaking out about the deficit? That’s the reason you’re so afraid? Which is it?

We all know you’re terrified, but the reason keeps bouncing around. The only constant is your need to let everyone know how emotional you are. We get it. Stop.

As for our border, even the biggest immigration hawk would concede that we’re not fighting a war with Mexico. If we were, I’d imagine our border spending might go up a bit.

OML’s opinion in brief:

“This disastrous Ukraine aid will get us all killed as well as cost me $38 a month! Take me seriously!”

Damn is that all. Pretty good price/deal to eliminate Russian communists. I hope that my portion has been well spent.

Oh what a special little opinion you got there. What if we just made all the war go away. Never thought of that.

Now that I think of it, I’m not the biggest fan of crime. Let’s stop paying for cops and prisons. Seems expensive.

I don’t need to make your point; you spend hours every evening making the same point. Everyone here knows and acknowledges your point. Many here have your same point and somehow manage not to PMS all over this thread and make it about them every time they get the vapors.

The last 20 years have taught anyone that was halfway paying attention that what you’re saying is speaking the gospel truth. But, easily overthrown Middle Eastern governments aren’t the same as someone that’s pretty much said he wants to bring back the USSR. I don’t like sending billions of taxpayers money anywhere, but it’s better than sending American troops into harm’s way.

I nice tidy argument but unfortunately, we don't live in a vacuum. If we did very few people would disagree with that vis a vis Ukraine.

Whether you accept it or not we are in a warm war with Russia in the cyber domain. So what do our dollars do for the defense of the US one of the prime directives of the Fedgov?

1. It bleeds Russia of financial resources and makes them weaker in the cyber domain and in the IRL AO.

2. It causes their puppet states and ally states to rethink just how capable Russia is and makes them rethink buying their weapon systems.

3. It is certainly making China rethink its short-term plans for Taiwan. They know the West's response will be far greater in defense of Taiwan than Ukraine.

The money we are spending, although it comes at a bad time, is IMO well spent. Russia has "lost" even if they "win".
