What I am shocked is that India refused to vote. I thought that they would have aligned with the US for sure knowing what was coming if Russia was allowed to get away with this. India loathes China and refused to be in the BRI, much to China’s fury.
Energy. India is in a similarly sticky spot here as well. They need, and just got, a shiteload of Russian coal. Shame we don’t have a bunch of coal we could sell to them

But the Ukrainian president has so far refused to leave the country.

The former Soviet Republic of Kazakhstan has denied a request from Russia to send troops into Ukraine, NBC News reported Friday. The country also said it will not recognize the breakaway republics from Ukraine in Luhansk and Donetsk that Russia recognized shortly before invading Ukraine. Russia is one of Kazakhstan's main trading partners and is a member of Russia-led economic and military blocs. The decision comes a month after Russia sent military peacekeepers to Kazakhstan after the country’s president asked for help in controlling protests that escalated into violence, including the seizure and setting afire of government buildings.
Now that is huge. Obviously Kazakhstan isn’t exactly a military power, but breaking rank in the CSTO literally the month after Russia came to their aide is a Bold move

Guatemala has recalled its ambassador from Russia. The central American country’s president Alejandro Giammattei said on Friday that he had ordered the return of Guisela Atalida Godinez Sazo, adding that his government rejected Russia’s actions in Ukraine. Giammattei had earlier expressed “full support for the sovereignty of Ukraine as like-minded countries and stand in solidarity with its people and government.”
Lol everyone is telling Russia to frick off.

Agree but strikes me as an odd move. First thought is the Chinese influence, but China shouldn’t want to piss off Putin now when they need him. Not really sure why Kazakhstan would side with us now after Afghanistan. Would love to know the calculus here.

You are upset that someone dares deviate from the official US State Department Approved Narrative.
FACT: When the CIA was kicked out of Afghanistan, they lost their ability to fund the Ukrainian government through their heroin franchise. Putin is just kicking Soros's illegitimate Ukrainian government in the teeth.

Their economy is entirely dependent on the export of oil and metals. Can't risk being caught up in sanctions with Russia and Belarus.

lol…no.
I just think that a degenerate gambler with a temper, who reads a few “edgy” websites in the last few days, now thinks he’s an expert on the CIA and other global political issues.
You have no idea. Your comments prove that.

That has to be the funniest thing I have read on tOT all day.
That would be the worst day at the boat ramp waiting for someone trying to back a 150ft+ ship down the ramp. Then he asks his crew if they remembered the bilge plugs and they just fall down laughing at him.
