I had to write a check just yeaterday and noticed that I have started writing checks in a kind of hybrid between cursive and printing.

True story.. In school... all my notes, etc I used to write everything in cursive. One day without even thinking about it I noticed I wrote a few sentences in print and ever since then that has been my default.

I use it at times to mess with some of my younger colleagues that have no clue what they’re reading. It’s funny and sad at the same time.

When I take notes in meetings I use cursive

you sure about that?
This is very similar to the documents I've been trying to decipher, only the one I have is worse handwriting.
Dude, I'm 60 and I can't read that.

I use it every single day. At least every work day.

Montessori still teaches kids cursive.

They don't want you to be able to read the Declaration of Independence and Constitution.

Felt bad for my Mother yesterday. She was writing a whole letter in cursive to summarize something. No one will be able to read it.... She also doesn't have the greatest hand writing.
I only use cursive when I'm trying to write fast or taking notes for my own knowledge.

I do a hybred cursive-block. My S, T's & R's are block in cursive. My G's are big lowercase g's for capitalization in cursive.

The wifey (pics aren't uploading for some reason) pretty much only writes in cursive. Pretty rare for someone in their early 30's. She didn't believe I could write in cursive but I somehow strung together a couple sentences when she had me writes some stuff not long ago. I had forgotten how to do a few cursive capital letters

High school, 1997. I printed in college, and in Eng classes went to all caps. Pointless to learn it? But now I wonder if it’s not learned, how would we read old documents?
I don't know that I wrote anything in cursive (besides my signature) after my Freshman drafting class. After that...all print and all caps.
