This. I held out as long as I possibly could until my company mandated proof of vaccination.....and then I just went for the single J&J shot. They let go two people who refused. I know one of those two absolutely struggled to find a job afterwards. Jobs were scarce.

You’re really going to try to make the case that there wasn’t coercion and federal overreach regarding the vaccine? Obviously my post was hyperbolic in nature but the point remains that folks were bullied and threatened into taking vaccines and that’s fundamentally wrong given the circumstances surrounding the Covid vaccines.
Oh and btw, I didn’t get the vaccine.

To pick at nits, there is a difference between efficacy and effectiveness. Under controlled trial conditions, something might show “95% efficacy.”
“Effectiveness” comes into play when it’s implemented in the real world under less than controlled conditions. So, effectiveness is likely going to be lower than efficacy.

It was really wrong to make young college students who had Covid and recovered on their own through their own immune system to be forced to take unproven shots. It makes no sense to vaccinate for a disease that one already had and recovered from.
I wasn't forced, but I was coerced to get the shot. If I didn't, there was a good chance my medical school acceptance may have been revoked in favor of someone else who didn't mind getting the shot. The narrative at the time was "get vaccinated, trust the science, save grandma, etc."

I actually wouldn’t be surprised if I got one. Everyone I knew went down for the count after their vaccines and my only side effect was a quarter-sized spot around the shot that was a little tender.

Kinda weird that the only place we can get true facts about the vaccine is anecdotes from a mortician in a documentary. Big pharma must have some deep pockets to pay 99 million people in this study to all agree on a lie

Really there is no way to dispute this. I find it funny people bringing up Trump to blame now that this came out.
Trump didn’t force this on the population. Biden did. I had plenty of friends that woukd have lost their job and another relative in the army that was forced to take it by the mandates. Trump would have never forced this.
If you had major health issues or were a big fatty, the vaccine maybe saved your life. Problem is Biden and the democrats were greedy and forced it on everyone, including young children and teenagers. Which it was completely unnecessary. The government also falsified statistics to scare more of the population into getting it, all for the almighty dollar.
That’s the biggest problem I have. Any idiot thst followed what was being done could see this.

The one that OSHA mandated for any employer of at least 100 people (which I understand to be any of the approved vaccines that you wanted to take to meet the mandate), which was struck down by the Supreme court. Surely you remember that.
