I just find it ridiculous they get to justify shooting any dog they like if they can somehow claim it “charged them”. If I see a golden doodle running up I wouldn’t care because it’s a frickin doodle, it isn’t going to do shite.

Too many instances of them having zero judgment or looking for an excuse to kill someone’s pet. I don’t know which is worse

Goldendoodles are one of the most docile breeds out there.

Hopefully the owner sue both the cop and the LAPD into insolvency.

Something is missing from this Twitter post… you don’t send 15 cops simultaneously for a noise complaint.




With that said, frick anyone who shoots a peaceful dog. I’m certain someone did something wrong here, because a golden doodle is never a threat. But also, something about this twitter post is intentionally misleading

I watched that earlier today ... can't watch it again.

It absolutely enrages me.

You shoot my dog ... you're next, plain and simple. Don't give a fat baby's arse who you are.

They are our protectors and loyal members of our families.

Cops need to get their dog shooting under control. It would be full on war if you shoot my dog. No excuses.

Yep, you injure or kill one of their K9s and it's no different than assaulting or killing an actual officer.

EBRSO actually had every Deputy attend a Don’t Shoot Dogs class a few years ago after a rash of dog shootings. My buddy was a deputy and had to go. They had some vet instructors from LSU come in and talk about signs dog show that are friendly, scared, aggression, etc.

Kind of interesting stuff honestly. But, at the end of the day, it just comes down to some people being terrified of dogs. You aren’t going to fix that with four hours of training.
