Land acknowledgements not enough. Give back their land

The World's UnFair
The World's UnFair" that has one goal: to convince people to give public and private land back to the people who once occupied it. It may seem unreasonable but it happens. Many have already given the land back to those who rightfully claim it.
I know several of our favorite schools have native monuments and historical sites on campus. That would be a good starting point.

Who can say they are the rightful owner? One native American tribe at some point or another ousted the previous groups of people living there.

How far back, though? Do we go back a certain distance and then stop? Or are we correcting for history as far back as we have records?

My ancestors were Irish. The Irish in the west of Ireland can trace their roots to the Iberian Peninsula. Can they go back reclaim Spain?
The southwest was inhabited by tribes that came up from South America who killed all the inhabitants that were there.
The Northwest was inhabited by people who came over the land bridge and killed the inhabitants that were there.
Many upper Midwest tribes where killed and dispersed by southern tribes in Canada, some of which had Viking DNA.
Who determines indigenous?
