The fact that a person who is pretty well known internationally and has sold 130 million records is dating a fanboat captain from Des Allemands

That's pretty wild regardless of what you think of her looks

I said heard of "any" meaning songs. You pretty much just proved my point. The "theory" is that people block out things they don't like even if they are aware of them. More specifically older people...

so then why did you say "claiming" not to have heard any or heard of her? if i hear a song that goes in one ear and out the other and i have no idea who sang it, i genuinely still havent heard of that person or their music.

You literally have then, though

Regardless, whether you people have "heard" of this person or not is very besides the point

She's sold a lot of records and has a lot of views on Youtube and she is dating a random airboat captain from Des Allemands

I think that is more of the point

if you remove words from my statement you change the meaning.

if i walk by you on the street and glance at you, have no idea who you are, dont talk to you, and continue with my day that means i physically have seen you, but i have no awareness of this fact, dont recognize you, nor would i ever even know to tell someone if they were to ask who you are or that i've seen you. i'm not "claiming" to not know who you are. i truly have no idea.

but regardless of all that, i'm with you - it's a great story so far!

Yes, that's why I brought up (2) very well known movies that have her songs in them.

Too which you proved the "old stubborn" theory correct by pretty much saying you don't like or care about her so she's never existed.

Lol ok champ. If I don't recognize a song then I'm not pretending to not know who she is or what the song is. I truly don't know.

Give me another to try

I’m not sifting through 11 pages, but if no one has suggested it yet, give “Video Games” a listen.

I’m just still completely in amazement by this. As someone said earlier, this is the stuff Tigerdroppings was built for.

Did they also literally meet when she randomly took an airboat ride?

As far as I can tell, yep. I wonder if this guy just shot his shot, asked for her number, then a couple of years later he gets a "you up?" text from Lana

I had no idea she’s been around that long.
