I'll be calling my state rep in about an hour to talk to him about this. Make their phones ring and maybe something will get done.

And theyll politely bullshite you about how they're very carefully considering both sides of the issue and then go and do what the donor that bought and paid for their office says do. They dont give 2 shots what we think.

Harm. You need harm for something to be detrimental.

Who is being harmed when a little old grandma on chemo gets a pot cookie or some CBD oil?

Who is being harmed when a professional winds down after a long day with a smoke?

My mom was with her friend (and her friend's friend) shopping recently. The friend's friend used to take CBD oil but her shop got shut down. Apparently they went into Bed Bath & Beyond and they were selling CBD products (???) and she was upset about that...

That's what my mother said anyway.

If this is true are the police going to raid Bed Bath and Beyond or is it ok if big corporate stores sell it and they're just going to destroy the small businesses?

We should outlaw kale, and Açaí, and essential oils too.

Don’t act like they are acting out of some high minded duty to protect the public from the scourge of some product that might not be as effective as claimed.

They are jackbooted little thugs high on power trying to stomp on the neck of anyone that bucks the system.

so are you lobbying to change the laws? are you planning to run for office to change these laws? Or do you just want to bitch from your couch.

This country is too far gone, and furthermore, it doesnt give a shite about it’s condition, so it gets what it deserves. The tree of liberty will be replenished in due time as it usually does, but I don’t see it happening in my lifetime. It’s going to have to get a lot worse before people come out of the cloud they’re living in.

With all the abuses we suffer from the government, you think THC will cause the next civil war? It would be the laziest war ever.

ATC suggest it’s illegal
well you can see a prime example recely with the beer industry of how the ATC "interprets" laws differently based on the administration.

Before Edwards, Breweries were "allowed" to advertised for activities that would be going on at the tap house that would include other businesses selling food, etc. Well once he got his minions in, ATC interpreted the law differently and started raiding these functions because it went against their brewing permit. basically their permits says they brew for the purpose of distribution and can sell 10% on site. The new ATC said, if they advertise for an event they are not brewing for the purpose of distribution.

This is why some laws are written the way they are, very in ambiguously, either on purpose or just written badly. These need to be challenged in court. But for the small businesses, it is usually just cheaper to abide by what ever the governing body says.

Are you arguing in support of the raid? Please be specific.

IF it is illegal in the state of Louisiana then yes. IF it's not than no. I don't care if it's legal or not, I care about the constitution. There's a right way to go about changing the laws if you don't like them.
