What a fricking waste of taxpayer dollars.

I mean how can ANYONE defend these actions? You are making criminals out of legitimate businessmen. You are making a crime where no harm exists.

Taking 2 willing people agreeing mutually to an exchange of goods, no one being hurt, and zero harm to the community, and they’re acting like he’s some monster.

Most ridiculous thing ever

CBD doesn't do anything to alter your state. You don't get high. It's strictly for medical purposes, albeit without much research on it.

Good work boys. Thank god this sheriff recognizes the scourge that CBD is to society.

"felony charge for the manufacture, distribution, and possession of marijuana".

Huh? Was he actually growing hemp or just selling products manufactured from hemp?

So this guy was actually making marijuana?

How do you make marijuana?

I bet 95% of his clients are pothead. I really don't have an opinion on cbd, but to say the federal government should override states rights is how you get civil war.

Well this is silly and indicative more of your intelligence than the actual facts.

This isn't the 1800s. States rights aren't as powerful as they were before.

Everybody knows that CBD is a gateway pain reliever. Next they’ll need to move to get Ibuprofen off the mean streets of Lafayette.

Seems like weed and all the THC/CBD derivatives will be legal in the future, but I don’t know how long that will take.

wonder if they went in and found he was also growing it there. do you think the guy could be that stupid.

it isnt a stretch to think that someone who has a cbd business is moving hash on the side.

holy shite our state is a fricking joke
it is still illegal according to our laws and according to federal laws. the cops are just doing their jobs enforcing laws. I dont see how you have an issue with this. If you feel so up in arms about this you should be at the capital this week lobbying for reform in the state drug laws. Our law makers are there; making laws.

And I'd bet 95% of his clients are people with hypertension, anxiety, or depression. But mostly hypertension.

Potheads like to get high, and CBD doesn't do that.
