Can't believe my beloved Border Collies are at 32. I guess it makes sense, they're a terror to have unless you train the shite out of them, or you can just leave them outside to their own devices.

Popularity is not a good thing for a breed. It leads to trash bloodlines and congenital diseases. We have had labs for years but we only select dogs from proven field trial lineages.

Huge fan of the German Shepherd, the swiss army knife of dogs.

AKC just can’t let go of it’s bias against White German Shepherds

Can even have some Ebony & Ivory living together in perfect harmony.

Also, Biden must be a crappy owner.

Awesome dogs, just get ready for the hip problems later in life, it's rough to watch.

I’m team Great Dane all the way.

I put the blue down in December of 2019 at 13.5 and the Fawn in December 2020 at 12 but she was a rescue and they aged her at 2 when we adopted her.

That’s my girl in 2015 with her Uncle Fatass King Ranch in 2015.

This is my new rescue from 3 weeks ago.

bulldogs at 2?

bulldogs' existence is literally pain, they can't give birth naturally and they have horrible breathing problems

Only breed I'll own, well maybe a Golden. Probably had at least a dozen labs in my lifetime, never had any issues with any of them.

My lab mix puppy celebrated by chewing on my office chair, biting my arm, then becoming completely docile and going to sleep.

I have a pitbull lab mix.

Truly the best of both worlds.

I've had a lab in my house since I was 11 and I'm 43 now. Wouldn't have it any other way. Used to be pet/hunting dogs. Over the years they have transitioned to just being house companions. My current chocolate is the definition of "good girl". She loves everyone but is especially attached to my wife and goes EVERYWHERE she goes. Strangers aren't getting close to th wife until they get a good sniff and the tail wag. lol. Even sleeps in my spot when I'm gone to the camp.

Perfect except for the shedding

Yea that's why we opted for a Golden Doodle, plus my daughter loved them. I won't say she is the best of both worlds but she is only slightly less intelligent/trainable than a true Golden (I find she gets distracted way easier than any Golden or Lab I've ever worked with closely) and she is incredibly affectionate to the family....and she doesn't shed.

I think she's probably as close to perfect as a true inside dog as you could probably get.

I think mutts are the most popular breed. Probably only counted pure breeds in this survey.
