They had those speakers cranked all the way up. The video was from like a block away and it was still loud as hell.
The video is textbook "disturbing the peace", no matter what words they were yelling.

Now back to my original statement. Free speech in the US is an illusion. At best we have permissible speech, but in most cases we have limited speech bases on race.
Whether you should or should not has absolutely no barring on this.
No one is getting arrested if they yell at me in public that I'm a cracker or honky and I wouldn't want them to. And on top of that, I'm not even going to try to murder them over it.
Can't claim any of that with the "other word".
I personally think you guys are getting too deep into your own asses trying to make a point that was never even in contention in the first place.

I don't do criminal defense work anymore, but when I did, if someone was arrested and billed for Disturbing the Peace just for playing "obscene or offensive" music from their car stereo, I would have absolutely kicked the State's teeth in, yes

Criminal defense fees were always paid up front and deemed earned on receipt

I'm not sure if I've ever been paid to handle a traffic ticket in my life, but I've somehow managed to handle a shite-ton of them, regardless. With friends like these, right?
