Only had crawfish twice this season and it reminded me for good how much I'd rather have shrimp.

This year I finally admitted to myself that I don't actually like crawfish.

I always ate it because I just felt like I was supposed to.

Interesting to see so many that don’t care about crawfish that much. I tend to agree. A company boil and then maybe 1 or 2 boils with friends is all I really need. I think I’ve come to enjoy the social aspect of crawfish more than the actual crawfish.

Not surprised by this one bit considering the threads I’ve seen you start

He's an enigma. Claiming to be a rich guy whilst crying about the price of salads, not understanding homeowner's insurance, and proud about having to resort to eating chinese crawfish.

If it's not one thing in Louisiana, it's another.

Keep in mind that some of these same people were in all the near daily threads bitching about the price of crawfish and not being able to afford it while at the same time telling everyone how overrated crawfish are. Those same people haven't started a single thread celebrating the drop in crawfish prices that has been mentioned in this thread.

I'm sure our ancestors would be proud of us that we aren't having to pull shite out the bayou to survive anymore.

How many years have crawfish been on this planet? They aren't going anywhere. Another pathetic excuse by those carny "fishermen." They want the consumer to actually believe their BS.

There is the excuse already for ridiculous prices for years. I guess it saves them from having to make up an excuse year after year.

Yep. It’s like people get it excited to bitch about high prices. They get joy from it or something.

I don't know if it's the prices or what, but my taste for crawfish isn't what it used to be. We had two boils this year and I'm good.

This is what this is about. Of course the harvest is down. When you charge crazy price demand goes down. You harvest less. That’s fine, give them their money and let them regroup for a year.
