You may absolutely use "reasonable force" to protect someone else's property. Standing between a rioter while holding a gun should not be unreasonable. And the second that that piece of shite attacks you with deadly force, you can reciprocate

But if those people walk right past you and break a window, you do not have the. Right to shoot them. Literally my only point.
So what's the point of this in this thread about the Rittenhouse trial? When did this happen?

It absolutely does not.

I think you’re intentionally ignoring pretty much everything I’m saying.

What are you thoughts on Rittenhouse with that in mind?

You think the progressives wouldn’t be right there with them in support?
Chalmetteowl’s opinion wouldn’t change.
It isn’t the group performing the act that they support.
It is the act itself and the target they oppose.

C in z's take on this should be enlightening

was that business insured?
So it’s ok to go burning down someone’s business because it’s insured. Never mind the lost wages, the time spent rebuilding the place that is now more expensive than the insurance policy entails, your employees losing their jobs that aren’t part of the policy, the mental stress, and just encouraging violence in general. Next time you go burn down someone’s property, I hope you run into someone like Kyle Rittenhouse. You are an evil, selfish scumbag who has absolutely no empathy for anyone who disagrees with you. You will excuse literally anything your side does no matter how foul. Bet you blamed David Dorn for his death as well didn’t you?

Then why would people buy it? Why would my car dealership and mortgage company require it?
Bottom line if the police do their job, Kyle Rittenhouse doesn’t think he has to be there

SNL last year literally told their viewers to go burn down private businesses if Chauvin was acquitted since they have insurance. They say that from their Manhattan high rises and laugh at the peasants as the world burns.

Would you let someone burn down your house just because you had insurance?

Show me someone that produces this stupid talking point and I will show you someone who has never filed an insurance claim for anything significant in their life.

See the post above yous. Building and maintaining a business takes a lot more than just brick and mortar.
If I'm a business owner, even if every dime of payroll, every hours worth of lost wages, every single employee that never comes back, even if my insurance provider will cover every single expense and my business comes back just the way it was, I'm still shooting the motherfricker that tries to burn it until I see his soul leave his body, because frick 'em.

These people are fricking morons that just repeat some stupid thing they have read from some other moron.
They have no clue about real life and how stuff like insurance really works.
