Catholics must not be good stewards of their money. I mean you don’t see the Synagogues begging for cash.

At least they don't MAKE you donate. They will pressure you, but some of those non-denominational churches requires (not sure how. I guess they tell them they can't be members if they dont) its people to give them copies of their W2 to make sure they are giving 10%

My Parish has been doing ACH/EFT withdrawals for at least a decade. I've never put an envelope into the collection basket.

I am surprised there are not more churches who don't allow you to pay online. As long as I can remember I always wondered if the men who collect the baskets dip their hands in it when they put it all together.

At #34 is the Catholic Medical Mission Board. The organization was founded by a New York City doctor in 1912. This organization is known to provide health care services to people around the world, regardless of religious affiliation. Their total revenue in 2016—the most recent report—was $368 million dollars.
Catholic Relief Services
Coming in at #38 on Forbes’ list is Catholic Relief Services. This organization was founded in 1943 by U.S. Catholic bishops and has since become an international organization known to help the poor and needy not only in the U.S. but also overseas. Its total revenue was $922 million in September 2016.

It has nothing to do with pride and everything to do with supporting an organization you benefit from that has no other form of income.
If you don't go to church because you (for the most part, erroneously) believe them to be money making schemes - fine.
But if you go and don't support it financially - I'm not sure how you can justify it.

I think most churches already do online donations, mine has for years.
