What's the current headcount of appliances on your kitchen counter, and which ones are vying for the title of “Counter Kingpin?”

I don’t like my girlfriend’s fancy Nespresso coffee machine, so I plopped down a good ol Mr. Coffee maker. This has caused a mild ripple in the force and could result in a shelf being added to the kitchen.

Coffee machine and an air fryer. Coffee machine is hidden kind of behind a wall and the air fryer is under a cabinet and doesnt stand out. I dont like a cluttered counter

Soooo, not on the counter.

We have a Kerig, Vitamix, fruit holder, toaster, and knife block. Other than the Vitamix, they are used every day.

There's only 2 appliances on my kitchen countertops. The microwave and a 12 cup coffee maker that makes plain old regular coffee.

Just a Kuerig and a KitchenAid mixer. Gotta keep the workspace clear. Grateful for plentiful cabinets and drawers.

Coffee maker and air fryer on one counter. Coffee maker scooted back when not in use. Air fryer next to it flips up so that the space in front of it is still usable counter space. We also have a toaster on another bit of a different counter. Yes, we use both an air fryer and a toaster.

I would love to have nothing on my counters, but that’s not real life.

We have cabinets lining the entire kitchen over the counters. The air fryer is tucked under the cabinet overhang on the counter so its not 'sticking out' and very noticeable.

As the kitchen counter heads to the laundry room area, we have a pantry cabinet that goes from floor to ceiling. After the pantry, the counter continues, and the coffee maker is right there(also tucked under a cabinet lol). When you walk into the kitchen from either direction, you cant see the coffee machine.

The Bunn coffee maker. Plain Jane, makes a 10 cup pot in around 4-5 minutes. It sees heavy use with Community Breakfast Blend.

The espresso maker is in the cabinet under it and gets pulled out a couple times a week. We have a toaster that gets used regularly and the Kitchenaid mixer lives on the counter because it is a tank. Everything else is put away.

Single cup Keurig, toaster, can opener and air fryer. I looked at Nespresso machines, but don’t want to spend money on the capsules. I use a stovetop moka pot for espresso.

I’ve got every gadget known to man, besides a coffee maker, on my counter. Big fan of the traeger inside

ETA: realistically, can opener, sous vide charging, emulsion blender charging, coffee pot, vac sealer, weight scale, air fryer, blender, food processor, mixer, dehydrator…that’s all I can think of off hand…prob missing one or 2

A coffee maker on a small side counter. Nothing on the rest of the counters. Clutter is ugly.

We have one of those air fryers that flips up when not in use. Saves a lot of counter space

Our house is old. When it was built, people didn't accommodate for built-in microwaves.

My oven is in a brick wall, but I'd have to get someone to come cut an opening for a microwave. It would also be unusually high because the oven is pretty centered. It would be an expensive project that I'd never consider doing or paying to have done. I'll just stay trashy

Toaster oven - Breville, used more than the regular oven
Coffee maker - 4 cup Mr. Coffee, I like fresh coffee and this vintage model rocks
Rice maker - Japanese, couldn’t tell you the brand

All essentials.

Ninja coffee maker on the counter between the mudroom door and refrigerator.

KitchenAid mixer, toaster and knife block on the counter between the double oven and range top. Can opener between range top and sink.

Bottle drying rack, fruit bowl, formula maker and electric sterilizer on the counter between sink and back patio doors.
