The newest addition is the Ninja Creami. I’d like to hate on it but this thing is pretty bad arse.

Our house is old. When it was built, people didn't accommodate for built-in microwaves.

Same here. My house is nearing 100 years old and I'm sure at one time there was an old gas range for cooking and a real "ice box" for refrigeration and everything else was done by hand i.e. mixing, grinding, drip coffee pot on the stove, etc.

when we built we included a giant cabinet top with doors to close off the sight of all those appliances. I forget they are there until I need them. Makes my appliance count drop to 0 seen. Hidden in the cabinet top is 6 items that stay plugged in and ready, but hidden.

Counter Kingpin

Ever since my wife bought a Thermomix all the other appliances cower in fear.

I was skeptical at first but have to admit the damn thing does everything including weighing ingredients and the recipes come up right on the machine.

We have a coffee Ninja, Airfryer and like other people who have a POS Samsung refrigerator we have to have a separate ice maker that doesn't freeze up all the time.

It's pretty amazing that we can't seem to make a fridge with a reliable ice maker anymore. Something that was an afterthought 30-40 years ago.

I don’t like my girlfriend’s fancy Nespresso coffee machine, so I plopped down a good ol Mr. Coffee maker.

Clutter drives me and my wife has no problem with it. Appliance wise we have some expensive coffee maker and some bean grinder (I don't even drink coffee), a vitamix, a toaster oven. But then she stuffs every other crevice with whatever else can fit

I mean, what in the actual frick. Chiseling at the ice every couple months. My wife found some way to do a "defrost" that fixes it though, it's not a full defrost. I don't know what it was but search google if interested.
