Back in the 90's Touro had a suite in the Dome and I was able to get tickets to some of the Saints games, It was right next to Master P's suite. One game there were a bunch of little kids running around in and out of his suite with C-Murder shirts on, and I was like WTF is C-Murder, and why are there a bunch of little kids with shirts on that say this...

There's a ton of issues with this case. First, Miller was tried in 2009 when he was originally indicted in February 2002. That's a speedy trial issue. Then you have the 10-2 vote when it was alleged that the original jury vote was 9-3 and one of the holdouts claimed the juror who switched was being threatened and harassed by other jurors. Then you have witness recantations, at least one of whom was threatened with an unrelated criminal charge that would land him a 10-year sentence if he didn't cooperate. This case stinks, even if Miller is likely guilty.

No, it wasn't. That video that circled the internet was from another incident where luckily for everyone involved the gun jammed.

I’m watching the last episode of the No Limit doc right now. They blame every bad thing that happened to them, including C Muder’s conviction, on racism and the racist people in Louisiana.
It’s comical how delusional they are when they talk about how C Murder was too deep in the streets and they couldn’t get him out, but then blame white people when he gets in trouble.

The original verdict, the jury was deadlocked. The judge told them to go back and think some more. That happened like twice.
With the newest revelations, I think it’s fair his trial get a fresh look.

It was actually at Club Raggs in Baton Rouge on Plank Rd.
quote:
Rapper C-Murder pleaded no contest to two counts of attempted second-degree murder inside a Baton Rouge courtroom Wednesday morning.
Prosecutors say in August 2001, C-Murder, whose real name is Corey Miller, tried to shoot the owner and a bouncer at "Club Raggs" with a semi-automatic pistol. Owner Norman Sparrow and bouncer Ronnie Williams say Miller pulled the gun from his waistband and tried to shoot them for not letting him in the club with his gun. Police say the pistol jammed.

The recanting of stories was due to witnesses being threatened.
Peeps are saying racism is the reason he was found guilty. How? It’s not like a white person committed the murder and a black person goes to jail. If by some chance they do have the wrong guy, it is another black person that is guilty. Race has nothing to do with it.

From what I remember the kid he murdered was an underage fan who was trying to get an autograph or something.

So what you're telling us is that when Kanye gets elected, C-Murder gonna get a Presidential Pardon?

I waited on him at a restaurant I worked at back in 98-99. He left me $100 tip.

Dude threw a punch at me for a hard foul during a pick up game at the Rec Center around 1998. I guess I got lucky. A couple of years later he murdered someone.
