This is a little different because it is a manufacturer challenge, the single chip is sold specifically as a challenge. It also may have even predated Tik Tok since they have been around for a while.
In the end, we have to know the COD before forming an opinion on his death.

We did it at work a while back. Nobody seemed to think it was extreme so only like 1-2 tap outs. 4 people called in sick the next day. Apparently it has a delayed reaction of a few hours. Doesn’t seem very safe. Not sure what chemicals are in it, but government should ban.

Yes. Halloween party a few years ago. Sister in Law got them for all the men. Last one to drink after eating the chip won a gift basket full of hot stuff. My brother was puking within 5 minutes. Almost went to the hospital. Others fell quickly as well. I ate it and other than being nasty (stale chip covered in powder), it wasn't really bad. About 10 minutes later, my sinuses were draining. Everyone quit, I waited another 5 minutes for good measure, then went back to drinking beer.
It was hot, but I feel like I have had hotter things before
