We can break our dependence by reverting back to the lifestyle of Native Americans. One problem, not enough buffalo. Two problems, you'd have to get your gay hands dirty

Native Americans knew where oil seeps were in the ground and used them as a natural resource in Oklahoma for sure..likely other places.

When we learn how to breathe freely in space. That's how far away from this we are.

Keystone was built almost 20 years ago. Keystone XL has not been completed

Between us and Canada we wouldn’t need to deal at all with middle eastern oil.

Extension as you call it already built but it's actually a reversal of existing pipelines for oil from tankers to go to inland refineries. The only section of Keystone XL not completed crosses the border. Keystone itself completed long ago. Canada to Cushing then Cushing to the Phillips66 refinery across the river from St. Louis in Wood River IL.

All pipeline operators limit buried flanges. 99% of connections will be welded for obvious reasons. There is a process to have buried flanges and it’s a PITA, intentionally of course

Wrong. The Keystone is finished all the way to Port Arthur and Houston. The proposed XL was a 45 degree cut through Montana and South Dakota. It was never completed. Those areas are served by different pipelines.

The segment I was asking about is the one that was going to run East-West between Loving Co, TX and Lea/Eddy Co, NM.

Maybe that was support to be a branch off the one flowing CO2 from Southern CO & North NM?

El Mar lateral line maybe? I’m not too familiar with CO2…other than they flood the Yates and SACROC.

And how long will the supply last???

Considering we keep finding billions of barrels of oil and natural gas seemingly monthly, a long fricking time.

Looking at your past post quality and downvote count perhaps consider another message board. I think TexAgs is interviewing.

While unfortunate, this one should be an easy cleanup operation.

The right should make a reality TV show where they follow anti-oil fanatics like the poster here and shame them daily for using Products and services produced by oil, including riding on public transportation.
